I only wish that the multicolor face would stay that way and not slowly changed the the next colors. For instance if you choose red or blue, they can stay that way but the multicolored are always changing. I like the way you can choose the volume level since I have two kids that share a room and have different wake up schedules. I also like the light bar at the top that can easily be turned on or off.     I bought this clock for both myself & my son for school. He has never experienced waking up early for school because this is his first year. I though it would be fun to have something colorful to wake him up with & see the cool colors every morning & change it out whenever he chooses. The alarm just beeps, but I’m such a light sleeper that I will probably wake up with it but might be quiet. It’s so cool that you can dim the lights & turn them off if you choose. I found it very easy to set. I didn’t need instructions. However, even though it takes batteries, it does NOT work unless it’s plugged in. Perhaps the batteries are only used for memory of the power goes out to keep the time so you don’t have to keep setting it. That is a bummer! The other downside is, as far as colors, it doesn’t go through the rainbow of colors if you just want a solid color, unless you put it on multicolor mode. But that isn’t a big deal. ... show more
