This product was very useful. By storing my bikes vertically, I cleared up a lot of space in my garage. I like the design: utilitarian and sturdy. The parts connected to the wall come in sections. Although drywall anchors are provided, I highly recommend drilling at least one set of screws (top and bottom) into solid wood for every section. The only shortcomings I see are these: 1) Putting five bikes would be a very tight squeeze, especially if they are mountain bikes. You need to store at least two bikes upside down. Use hook-and-loop straps to keep the front wheels of the upside-down bikes from moving back and forth. Store rarely-used bikes upside down because it takes a bit of effort to remove the upside-down bikes, 2) The instructions don't provide guidance on how high to install the product. You can figure it out, but it would have been nicer if they provided guidelines. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. ... show more

Pretty easy to install on a solid wall and took me about 20 min from start to finish. Installing with studs would probably take a bit more time. If the bracket was one piece, it would be easier to install on a wall with studs. Rack is very sturdy once installed and holds bikes well. You can reverse the bikes to avoid handlebar interference, but I wanted as much space down by the floor as possible so I just turned all my beach cruiser bars. ... show more

The quality seemed strong until application of each of the six hooks. Once the hook was applied to the rail and I pulled down for it to secure to the base, the weld completely snapped. Now I’m not sure how to obtain a replacement hook. I was able to attach 5/6 of the hooks appropriately. It should be noted that the rail splits into 4 sections and is not one giant rail. Not the greatest experience I’ve ever had installing something but for the money it seems it’ll make it a better garage space. ... show more

The strength and robustness is good. However, the rail should be one piece instead of 4 separate smaller rails that need to be mounted individually and lined up. This was painful and time consuming. Once up, I could hang 5 bikes on 4 rails. I would not put 6 bikes on 4 rails. One area of functional disappointed is the fact that the hooks are not big enough to accommodate bigger, thicker mountain bike tires. Now I'm on the hunt for bigger hooks for the rail. ... show more
