We absolutely love NETVUE, as we have other home monitoring devices from them, but we were blow away with the Birdfy by all its innovation, we have 3 of them in the backyard and they attract amazing new birds daily to them. They are very well built and come with everything you need in the box. I love the versatility to mount them in different ways and places. I have one on a tripod that I move around the yard where I want to and the other 2 are mounted, one on a wooden post and the other on a metal post. They came with hose clamps to install easily anywhere on a round pole or post. Also comes with a Velcro like band you can attach to a tree without hurting the tree. The company has really put a lot of effort into the product quality and accessories. The camera is awesome! It can identify the birds through their AI software, it takes multiple pictures and a video when motion is captured. I love that fact I can view my birds from anywhere I’m at, even when I don’t have time I can review them later and I can upload the videos and even send them to friends and family. It comes with a built in white light and an alarm installed, to put extra light on a subject at night and an alarm to run squirrels and raccoons off, comes with sound to hear them live or it’s automatically captured through the videos. This birdfeeder has given us hours of entertainment, discovering which birds visit our feeder when we’re not looking! It was not hard to set up, and it worked perfectly. Recently, about 14 months after purchasing, the feeder wasn’t charging properly, so I contacted the company directly. They had me send back the old one at their expense, and they sent me a brand new bird feeder! And Sofia followed up with me more than once to make sure everything was working properly with the replacement. My husband is never happier than when he's watching birds at our backyard feeders. I thought this product would let him get up close and personal with his little chums. Boy, was I right! He is thrilled with the quality and performance of this feeder/camera. It was easy to set up and it immediately started attracting some of his favorite feathered friends. He is thrilled with the quality of the videos and stills produced and one of his favorite features is the alarm which works pretty well to scare away hungry squirrels. The instructions and setup were excellent - the box came with everything needed for a variety of mountings (I did direct mount to a pole in my yard). It does a great job of capturing the birds close-up with sound as they snack on seed and sing. Has motion alerts to let you know when birds are feeding - it is also easy to save and share the bird videos. This is a fantastic gift for anyone who loves the outdoors and nature. Wireless works well and was easy to connect at about 75' from the back of my door (90' from the router). This was 4 instead of 5 stars due to the camera quality/resolution of the images- the video is pretty good (5yo cell phone quality) but stills are not great. ... show more

I'm very happy with this bird feeder, it has a lot of great features that I've really enjoyed. Overall the setup was very easy. I had the camera linked to my phone, the software updated, and all the pieces put together in about 25 minutes. The picture quality is really good and it's a very nice looking feeder as well. I love the motion detection alerts and as I have it on a tree facing towards my front door it's functional as a security camera as well so I can see when I get package deliveries, who's at my door, etc. I also find setting the hours for sleep mode to be a great function for saving battery life. So far I've not had any major issues the only small thing I wish was a little better is that the lock that holds the feeder onto the brace can be a bit tricky, but overall I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to be able to see their birds while they're not outside or to get a more up close view of your birds. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Before I bought this, I studied multiple smart camera for reliability, camera quality, general support, and the general satisfaction of the people who have bought it. The Netvue Birdfy seemed to be the leader in all of these spaces and I have been more than satisfied with not only those aspects, but also with their technical support after I had a small issue with the AI after purchasing it. I live in a semi-rural area and probably have 100-200 birds a day visiting my feeder so I could spend all day reviewing videos of these birds (definitely something I sometimes do when I need a mental break). While the AI is not 100% accurate, it does help me to learn more about the birds that visit and gives me a good starting point for further research. It was hard for me to narrow down to about 10 of my favorite photos I've clipped from the videos taken by this product. ... show more
