I kept forgetting to buy a 1/2" ratchet, as I already have a Milwaukee impact and three breaker bars to fit the 1/2" sockets. This one worked really well during a recent suspension job--the extending handle helped when I needed that little extra bit of leverage. My only concern is that the selector for the ratchet feels really cheap and flimsy (it can't *seriously* be plastic, can it??), which is odd considering how beefy the rest of this wrench is. I don't abuse tools, but if I hit something the wrong way, I'm afraid this selector might break. ... show more

The handle shape is perfect - I was looking for one without the Snap-On knock off pear shaped handle. It has good knurling on it. The handle is plenty long for hard to reach areas or for use with high torque operations to replace your breaker bar. I have a feeling the ratcheting mechanism will last a long time because of the course teeth vs something like an 82-tooth ratchet. Incredible piece of equipment for the price. I was skeptical that this driver would survive my cranking, but it's been completely solid and shrugged off all of my hardest attempts to bend and or break it! I needed to do some suspension work on my son's 23 year old car, and those bolts were pretty tough to get off, but this ratchet performed better than I had hoped, I really needed the extra leverage this gave to me, I also bought the 3/8" ratchet too, and they were both excellent. Glad they are hanging on my pegboard now for the next time I need to use a ratchet, I won't be reaching for my short craftsman, but for this one that's more comfortable in the hand, and offers much better leverage without having to use a cheater. ... show more
