  • Not perfect but works well
Size: 33L Heating+Cooling
The only minor complaints is the temp setting is about 2° off, I have it set at 71°f and all my temp guage measure it at 69. And the shelves have no sides so singles are going to roll off. Easy to season, 3 large Boveda packs keep it pretty stable rh wise. Imine had no plastic smell at all. Great investment if you're looking to get out of the tupperdor/desktop humidors ... show more

  • Keeps steady temperature
Size: 33L Heating+Cooling
Theis 33 L Needone unit is thermoelectric and does a great job regulating, and keeping steady temperatures. I keep it at 69 degrees F and my (3) Hygrometers agree! I love that it is wider (easier access to the back) than some cabinets and therefore the shelves and drawer don't have as much weight on them when pulled out to access the cigars in the back of the unit. It only took 3 days to season and as of now (1 month later) the cedar aroma is very prevalent. I had a little issue with maintaining humidity levels but soon discovered that the surrounding humidity does affect the % in the unit. Since then I stopped using the water reservoir and am staying with 2 way bovida packs. I also love that I can fit 2 full unopened boxes in the bottom drawer and still have both shelves for singles. I have some coronas and a few petite singles, but mostly smoke Churchills so you won't get 250 capacity as stated if you have Churchills. You probably want to keep flavors separate as I have a few flavored cigars unboxed and when I open the door the aroma is very evident. So I assume the cigar flavors would merge if stored in close proximity. Although, that may not be a bad thing! I have an Ann Bully cedar glass top that holds my day to day stock so I don't access this unit often but I really love it! ... show more

  • Great humidor for beginners.
Size: 23L Cooling
Started getting into cigars and got tired of having them separated between many acrylic humidors. Ended up purchasing this after a lot of YouTube research. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Not easy to get the plastic smell from manufacturer out. I still have not.. however I’ve loaded it with cigars and my Boveda packs. Humidity holding perfect where I want it. Temperature however is hard to keep up exactly where i want it. Largely dependent on house and exterior temperature. If you’re keeping in a bedroom or warmer part of house this unit would be fine. If you’re in a north eastern climate or want to store cigars in your basement I’d recommend the heating and cooling unit for a bit more money. However, even with temps fluctuating +/- 4 degrees (always lower that I set never higher) my cigars have held perfectly at 69% humidity and smoked beautifully. Ps. I use a Govee Wi-Fi hygrometer to monitor my humidor. If anyone wants to know the stand was purchased off Amazon as well fits humidor perfectly even has plugs built into stand. UPDATE: now that it’s getting colder my humidor has trouble staying over 60-62 degrees. Too cold. Starting to get dew on cigars. Need heater version. ... show more

  • So far So good
Size: 8L Heating+Cooling
I’m very satisfied with my purchase. It looks classy and sleek without being gaudy. Set up was simple, just clip a couple zip ties, fill the included reservoir and you’re good to go. I chose to wipe down the interior and shelves with distilled water to remove dust and help with seasoning. Also no weird smell, just the wonderful aroma of the wooden (cedar I believe) shelves. Temp control is intuitive and seems to be accurate within .1 degrees. I live in a hot part of CA, and not having to worry about mold or beetles is a big plus. The unit is also SUPER quiet. The rH crept up quick with a PG solution, so some Boveda packs may be a good add on to keep things level especially with air being moved around (helped a lot in mine). If you have quality cigars you want to protect, but not a huge collection or budget the 8L is a perfect humidor. ... show more

  • Doesn't do what it claims in the ad copy.
Size: 33L Heating+Cooling
I purchased the 33L model, and have been very disappointed with the experience. I've owned numerous humidor over the last 30 years, and frankly, the best, most stable cigar aging and storage I've found is a large 50L roto-molded camping cooler. I purchase the Needone 33L humidor because it promised heating and cooling temperature control. I does keep the temperature somewhat constant, though the actual temperature carries as much as +/- 5 degrees from the setting. The main area where this unit fails is in keeping the humidity constant. Using the included resovior or Boveda packs makes no difference, the humidity fluctuates +/- 20 percent or more. If it's a humid day, the humidity inside the Needo e 33L can climb above 80%, on dry days it can drop to 50% or less. It's as if the unit is not sealed, and is always drawing in room air. I have even plugged up the drain hole and checked the door seal, all to no effect. The Needone 33L humidor is a nice idea, but it is not worth the hassle in my opinion, especially given the asking price. ... show more

  • Real quality - at a very low price point for what you get.
Size: 23L Heating+Cooling
When I opened it, the smell of cedar was just right. I had purchased extra cedar planks for the break in period, and 82% Boveda bags. Didn’t really need the extra cedar. It’s very quiet and went from 75 degrees to 65 in about 2-3 hours, where it has stayed. I have a couple other (non electrical) humidors. In Michigan the humidity and temperature can change at the drop of a hat. Boveda bags keep humidity simple, but do nothing for temperature. I’m hoping the heating element works as well as it cools. I was most concerned with sticks getting over 70 degrees however, not to worried about them getting cold- as the house is never below 65. It’s well made, about the size of a large computer tower. Not imposing. Found it referred to in numerous non-Amazon searches as an ideal quality unit for 150 sticks. The case light at the top is all but useless, as it only lights the top sticks. There is the concern of mixing too many types of sticks together and the flavors blending. This hasn’t been a problem in my other humidors unless I unwrapped sticks mixed together. I did that purposely with 2 brands and aged them that way for 2 years to infuse them with each other. The results - meh. Best to buy top sticks. Great buy so far. Will update if anything fails….
