This was the easiest hair to use, EVER! It is so soft, not heavy AT ALL! By no one’s fault but mine, I didn’t measure my own hair length BEFORE I ordered! My natural hair is 32” long & I ordered the 18”. So my own hair was exposed at the bottom but I didn’t mind. I just found out that they have a 24” now. It looks SO REAL!! I received NUMEROUS COMPLIMENTS SO FAR!! I didn’t do the crochet method. My natural hair was braided & then twisted. 1 pack of 8 and I only used 6 1/2 packs which completed my entire head with unused hair packs left over!! I HAVE A VERY LARGE HEAD!! YET THIS BRAND NOT ONLY COVERED MY WHOLE HEAD BUT TO HAVE UNUSED HAIR LEFT OVER?! WOW!! I’d say that the sky’s the limit. If you’d like lightweight braids, go for the pack of 8. The media could not be loaded. I like this hair. I've been ordering it since 2019. I usually have no probs with it. It is soft, super lightweight, the ends are curled well, and it doesn't have a strong odor. Yes, they could put more hair in the packs, but they let us know before ordering that 12 strands come in each pack. So, I'm okay with that. BUT, the last couple of orders I got have had very bad loops & frizz right out of the pack. If the loop isn't perfect and well established, it's impossible to use the strand. I usually have to throw out maybe 2-3 pieces from the whole 8 packs. But with the hair I got recently, I had to throw out probably 12 pieces over 8 packs. That's not going to work...especially since we don't get much crochet hair to begin with! Please take your time and make the loops on the hair better and more defined. It looks rushed. They should be very easy to stick our finger through so we can grip and pull it through. Otherwise, when you go to pull it through, it frizzes at the loop and become unusable. This hair is perfect for my clients and I even used this same hair on my daughter for a protective style. Compliments after compliments even when it was time to be taken out. It’s itch free, odor free, soft, light weight and great quality. The main reason why I will be back to buy more is because it did NOT tangle like other brands and styles . The install was easy and to take out was just as easy as the install. Now, I believe these are best with crochet or cornrow method. The individual method works great too but because the hair isn’t a super tight curl it’s best to do crochet over individual. Typically I get the Freetress hair because I can find it at my local beauty supply store. And now I feel like I should've just went to Amazon and got this all along. Comparing to Freetress, it is significantly softer and didn't have a weird smell. I always soak my hair in vinegar before install and the water was clean after I took this hair out. It weighs about the same and the twists are a little smaller but overall great product. Only downside is it does tangle a tiny bit more than other brands. And I do mean a time but. The hair itself is soft and beautiful. I’m disappointed because I expected more for my money. The bundles are extremely thin, one pack does not do a full head, hence the reason I rated it a 3. It actually took a pack and a half. First time ordering from this seller, my package arrived within the timeframe given so no complaints there. Just wish the bundles were fuller and did a full head as described.
