  • Great mg orotate
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 200 Count (Pack of 1)
Overall I love this magnesium however the coating on the pills or lack of sometimes causes them to get stuck in my throat.

  • This doesn’t look like the same product
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 200 Count (Pack of 1)
I’ve bought this product for many years from Amazon. The picture on the left is the old label. The picture on the right is the label on the bottle I just got. It looks like it’s less effective now and that the type of magnesium has changed. It’s confusing to me and I don’t know if two capsules is actually sufficient on a daily basis or not now. I’m hoping the manufacturer will see this review and clarify. In the past, this product has been fantastic, and worked very well for me. ... show more

  • Parents were patients of Dr. Nieper for over 20 years.
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 100 Count (Pack of 1)
I have been taking this supplements for over 15 years. Magnesium orotate is a mineral transporter where magnesium is bound orotic acid a natural component of whey. Dr. Hans Nieper used this mineral transporter for magnesium nutritional support in thousands of patients who suffered from cardiovascular conditions. This magnesium mineral transporter has very high absorption with the whole compound passing in an intact state through the small intestine into the blood stream. Once in the blood stream, orotates have a particular affinity for bone, cartilage, liver, brain, heart, lungs and the walls of blood vessels. Due to its ready absorption by the lining of blood vessels, magnesium orotate will activate enzymes in the vessel walls slowly mobilizing deposits of cholesterol. The magnesium will also relax the smooth muscle of arteries. Both of these processes will increase the elasticity of blood vessels so over time so magnesium orotate can be a beneficial supportive nutrient in for cardiovascular health. ... show more

Este magnesio fue recetado por mi médico, mas allá de las propiedades mi preocupación era que fueran fáciles de tomar, pues sí, no se dificulta y no me deja un mal sabor

  • Easy to swallow and no gastric side effects.
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 200 Count (Pack of 1)
I had no trouble swallowing these pills. After reading some of the reviews I expected something much larger. These were not a problem for me. They hold together and are tasteless. There is no gastric distress associated with them like some other mg supplements. I have tried many different types of magnesium supplements as I have terrible muscle spasms and leg cramps. I have taken these for a week and think they may work but am still undecided if they are any better than the magnesium maleate I took prior to this one. I would pay any price to not have the muscle spasms and leg cramps, but this one may fall short of my expectations. I will continue to take 4/day as recommended for the over 50 crowd and at the end of the month decide whether to buy again. I am not sure it is necessary to pay more if there is no detectable difference from a less expensive alternative. ... show more

  • For those who have trouble swallowing this pill
Flavor Name: Unflavored Size: 200 Count (Pack of 1)
My mother taught me to put the pill in with the chewed food and swallow. I taught my five year old daughters how to do it and to this day they use this method. This is the easiest way to take any pills. You don't taste it, it doesn't stay in your throat and it goes down easily. You can follow it with water if you want. Try it, you won't regret it. ... show more

  • Magnesium Orotate ... The Best I Have Found!
Because good health is very important to me, I am not a casual user of vitamins. I do plenty of both research and trial-and-error testing over time (with myself as the Guinea Pig before giving/recommending to others.). My first trial of Magnesium was with Magnesium Oxide (generally the type one might find in a drug store) which resulted in EXPLOSIVE diarrhea (so take this type to naturally relieve yourself if you are constipated). Next, I moved on to Ionic Magnesium which is totally absorbed by the body, and therefore never results in diarrhea, however, it is quite nasty to take orally --- to the point that sometimes even I had a gag reflex (and I have very high tolerance, even Citrulline Malate doesn't phase me) is very expensive and you have to take a good deal to get, especially beyond, a recommended daily dosage. This Magnesium Orotate is FANTASTIC...no resultant diarrhea, high potency and cost-effective. My search is over. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they would at least round the edges of the tablets or make them somewhat more oval in shape to facilitate swallowing. ... show more
