This staff was very easy to assemble, and was taller than I anticipated (I’m 5’10”), so kudos. However, I expected something a little sturdier for the price I paid. Great for my costume, and to low-key scare my dog with my fake spell-casting, but it’s built flimsy, and the halves don’t quite line up without risking stripping the plastic. It’s really flimsy and the top and bottom parts don’t line up properly. The top stone part is just stickers which was already peeling. I wish they would’ve used sturdier plastic. It works for a prop thou which I suppose is what the main purpose is.

I bought this with very low expectations based on the reviews. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. For the price, it's fairly awesome! Yes, it's plastic, and yes, the jewel/ball thing at the top is just stickers, but to me (and I'm pretty picky about costumes....I paid over $400 to have a custom Maleficent costume made) it works nicely. It's only flimsy if you're planning to really use it as a walking stick or cane, or if you plan to use it to pole vault. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
