I am very pleased so far with the quality and the material. With simple measurement, installing it is very easy but very heavy need several ppl to lift it so make sure u have help unless u have a forklift. I added a cross bar on my bed rack so the tent will be even with my roof rack. Will do another review once i start using the tent under different weather conditons ... show more

Tracking during shipment was not clear or accurate. Upon opening discovered a scraped and dented shell inside the undamaged shipping box. Which is evidence of damage prior to boxing and/or poor QA. Seller offered $30 for my troubles. Otherwise, solid built, seems fairly well thought out. Battery connection mounted under and power distribution box inside. Slight water intrusion at the corners during highway speeds, but dries quickly after opened. ... show more

    • Delivered with only 1 functioning gas strut
Good tent, great value for the price but mine was delivered with only 1 installed gas strut. The other strut was left fully extended and disconnected from the bottom. Didn't really want to buy this just to have to fix it immediately but you get what you pay for I suppose. Still looks like a nice tent ... show more

I purchased this with some worry about the quality. Install was super easy. The tent fabric is made of high quality material. The mattress pad is way more comfortable than imagined. It easily matches quality to the high end RTT.

    • Far from perfect.
I'll start by saying the good: - Materials are sturdy. - Space is good for my wife and I 5'11 and 5'7. I wouldn't recommend for anyone bigger than that. - You feel safer than in a regular tent. - Easy to open and it doesn't fully close, but it's closes enough. The bad: - The tent can't be fully closed, which means that the wind hits the car and crawls straight to your tent. - THIS IS NOT AN ALL WEATHER TENT. You will be extremely cold even in above 32* F weather. We've camped in the same sleeping bag in an all weather 100 bucks tent, no problem. With the wind problem this tent is not for cold. - It doesn't fully close, there are parts of the outside of the tent that will show when you close it. - Everyone raved service is great, they just tried to sell me a 200 dollar cover for winter as they said that the one they sent is all weather the way they look at it. (it isn't). - Condensation is tough, the sturdy materials and small space, combined with the poorly planned cover that let's the tent get cold inside make the inside drip. I'll add pictures. Installing- IT IS VERY HEAVY and the materials they send to install it don't provide enough grip. Do yourself a favor and buy better materials too hook the tent to the car. Would I buy it again? after 1 camping in 40 degree weather, no. But I do think that it will do it's job during the summer months. ... show more

    • Great tent for the 3 of the cost of a name brand!
When I got the tent I did not think it was going to be as compact as I thought. It was about a 3rd of the price of the name brands. The aluminum shell is very durable!. The light strip did not come with it, but I messaged customer service and they set it right out. I LOVE MY TENT!
