    Had unit for 2 years it frequently works for turning on lights and low wattage items. On the other hand, if you try to charge say a 1500w heater it should last an hour based on the customer service rep. However, it will probably give you 10 min at best. Customer service is a joke I have been trying to get them to assist me for 3 months with another issue, that is still not resolved. Definitely find another company and save the hassle. ... show more

    Unfortunately negative reviews are 100% accurate. Have had for two years - has malfunctioned since day one- on third round of same problem. The first time covers by warranty …. 2nd time after hours and hours of speaking with employees they agreed to fix the problem no charge but took 3 months to get unit back to me . In that time had multicolor power outages - one lasting 14 days ! And yup no generator just panels and a pod waiting on repair - had to go buy traditional generator. Employees seem to do their best to accommodate but company policies are TERRIBLE. Decided not to send a 3 rd time for SAME repair and made peace that I just got a lemon and was willing to upgrade bit to have no recycle, upgrade or buy back ….. THEY DONT EVEN WANT THE UNIT THEY SELL !!! New models not compatible with pods but they will sell you a conversion kit for $ 200+ so yeah you’re stuck with a faulty unit AND can’t use the pods ….     While it worked, it was great. But, it didn't even last a year. No power surge, nothing. Just quit taking a charge. Contacted the company and got the run-around until they informed me I would be paying to repair their trash equipment. Just a 70lb paperweight! Do yourself a favor. Invest in a better company, with better equipment, that honors their warranty. ... show more

    The product is very good and works extremely well in my off grid vacation home. The problem is there customer service. I have sent multiple emails to get a problem resolved which needs a replacement part. I have yet to hear from them. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product with such poor warranty service.
