    • Easy to use butterfly house
I like the color and easy use but I would have liked it better if the entire top would have been covered with nylon rather than half screen and half nylon. When you attach the chrysalis to the top of the butterfly kit the tape doesn't stick very well to the screen. Plus that is the side you will be opening to place sugar water and fruit down inside so they have something when they come out of chrysalis. ... show more

1. I believe it’s overpriced. It looks like a laundry hamper but smaller than I though it’ll be. 2. The butterfly’s are not included, the good thing the coupon worked, it’s just kids had to wait for caterpillars like a whole week more after that, so don’t show this thing to kids right away.

We are SO happy with our purchase, and with the educational experience that was provided for our homeschool. We received 6 potential butterflies. Two attached themselves to the fabric provided, but instead of getting rid of the ones that failed to attach (or that were knocked down by the stronger caterpillars, we left them inside their cocoons/chrysalises and placed the now open cup inside the butterfly habitat. We were rooting for them to survive and kept them even when they seemed to be getting moldy/fuzzy. Two of these cup-dwelling "failed" ones were the first butterflies to emerge! So don't discard those long-shot creatures that fall or fail to attach—give your class a wonderful little lesson on hope and perseverance instead. :) P.S. I'm sure it has been mentioned in hundreds of reviews, but the butterflies don't come with the initial order (and that's a good thing—you have to be certain that your habitat is in place before you start shipping vulnerable little living creatures through the mail). You get the kit, and then you use the code provided to order your larvae. Gathering around to watch butterflies emerge was such a beautiful experience. I highly recommend this product! ... show more

Comes with useless voucher. They make you pay over $40 to get everything you “need”. Wasted time and money.
