  • Dino-mite Fun for Kids!
We recently got the Easter Dig a Dozen Dino Egg Dig Kit for Kids, and it was an absolute hit! The excitement of uncovering different dinosaur figurines kept our little ones engaged for hours. Each egg comes with its own set of tools, making it easy for kids to feel like real paleontologists. The kit is not only educational but also super fun—perfect for Easter or any occasion. The quality of the dino figures is impressive, and the entire experience is both entertaining and informative. Highly recommend for young dino enthusiasts! ... show more

  • Fun for my toddler
I bought these for Easter for my toddler as a fun basket option. They're of decent quality. I like the info cards that come with the eggs, it's very nice they are numbered. The eggs might be slightly too solid even after soaking for five minutes, but right now she's three and may not have the full grasp of the concept. The toys might be slightly too tiny for the size of the egg, but they are still fun and she's enjoying playing with them. They can be fairly messy. The eggs seem to be made of plaster type powder, so cleaning it up when done does require some scrubbing if left to dry. I would not recommend dumping this down any sinks, it solidifies pretty well. ... show more

  • Fun but messy
A serious mess. This leaves a pile of sand behind. Entertaining for kids though, just pre-prepare for the mess. Newspapers or plastic throwaway table cloth.

  • Good for all ages
Great addition to our Easter egg hunt. The 7 year old, 5yo, and 2yo all handled this just fine and enjoyed it. Maybe the toddler had a little help from the oldest. I like that there are as many chisel tools as eggs so it could work for a class. Hammers or mallets weren't needed. We had them set up on a vinyl tablecloth outdoors and the mess wasn't horrendous. Not as hard to clean up as sourdough starter and bread dough, lol. ... show more

  • Big mess but lots of fun!!!!
My boys loved this cool project. When they were finding Easter eggs, I told them I had seen a dinosaur in our yard last night. Finding these dino eggs with the regular Easter eggs was quite a surprise and they ran around searching for them. The plaster is a little tough to dig through so letting the other eggs soak while you work on one saves some waiting time. The little digger tools are sharp so watch little ones so they don't poke themselves. I'm glad I brought the kiddie pool in to contain the mess! Very fun toy and kept them busy for quite awhile!!! ... show more
