Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars: Seller was very responsive and quick to resolve my issue. They updated directions for the proper way to connect the wires and sent me a copy. They also offered me a full refund. I was very happy with their quick response. Bought this to build with my 6 year old grandson. We started with the airplane. Screws are tiny and difficult to work with. Directions aren’t the easiest to follow. Worst of all was after I attached the wires to the motor they instantly heated up and had a burning smell. I covered them with electrical tape and they still ended up burning my grandson’s and my finger. Not sure if I connected them incorrectly as the directions were not very helpful.     • You will need adult sized tiny hands
Bought this for 5 and 7 year old. The end product was cool for kids to play, but building this was very hard. The screws are tiny and the screwdriver that comes with it is basic. Since the screws are so tiny, and the holes are so tiny, and there are oh so many dang screws (this is where you also need tiny hands that are very steady that can place align and keep in place all the screws and holes and whatnot), you will hate yourself less if you have a magnetic screwdriver. Oh, also, have some electrical tape nearby as my kiddo also gave himself a mild shock with the unexposed wires… not the end of the world but unexpected. Kept them busy once product finished, but kept me too busy making the dang things so this was not the presents I need (alone time while the kids do their own busy play building). ... show more

We just put together the obstical avoidance kit. My youngest (3 years old) absolutely loved it. The individual projects are packaged separately to make for easy headache free assembly. It is great watching the boys learn and play at the same time! Would recommend 10/10
