I’m not a climber but do a ton of camping and other outdoor activities, so I like to have various types of rope on hand for whatever comes up. I have other diameters of tops from this same company, and all of the performer equally well. This rope seems quite strong and well made. It takes a knot well and doesn’t fray easily. Do not use this rope for prusiks knots or other friction knots as it will melt and then not grip anymore. Also it is a little to stiff to grip all the time when you use it as a friction knot. Do not recommend for prusik knot or other friction knots.

For the most part this appears to be some perfectly fine and normal accessory cord. It claims to be fully certified and has the labels on the tips. The only thing a little concerning is that the provided cert. number doesn't match up to the Seamus name. It's for some other Chinese company. Now I'm definitely no UIAA expert so I could be misunderstanding something or using the database wrong. I just thought I would mention it because some people think those certifications mean everything in the world. Other than that though it really does appear to be real and good quality accessory cord. I've hung from it and bounced on it and it's perfectly fine rope. I'm only going to be using it for tree work on my property, so I'm not really worried about it anyways.
