This is my second one of these, they work really well for getting my bull rope safely up high in the tree I’m cutting down. Only complaint is the sack that you through into the tree, once wet will break apart more easily. Other than that it works really well and has helped me immensely.

This is an absolutely a must have if your using a rope saw or even just trying to get a rope on a high tree to take it down.the wax rope is worth is weight in gold and slides out of the tightest spots that you will get it stuck in. At first you may feel like the weighted bag isn’t heavy enough, but you will realize it is perfect for throwing and is small and extremely well built. Used this throw rope to bring down some broken tree limbs in several trees. Got it around the broken limb and then connected a larger rope to drag the limbs down. Worked great and doesn't get tangled up in the tree. The weighted bag glides down to the ground.
