These stools are really fantastic. They assemble really easily. Once assembled, you don't see screws, they look expensive and feel sturdy and well-made. They are really gorgeous stools and the price is unbelievable for them - a lot of the stools I liked were $700-$800 PER STOOL and I was able to get this set of 4 for around $800. I have gotten many compliments on them. I had noticed a few comments about the cushions being too firm, and when I sat down for the first time they didn't feel quite as "cushy" as they look. But they are actually very comfortable, and I sit on mine multiple times every day. And I think the fact that they are slightly firm will help them hold their shape and last for a long time. We had been looking at these on the Nathan James website and on a whim I checked Amazon. And boom there they were $400 cheaper and with prime shipping. These are beautiful sturdy barstools. The fo-leather is soft and a rich color. In the white fad of kitchens this is a nice way to bring in some warm color and life. They were easy to assemble and packaged nicely to protect the leather. Solid, attractive, perfect height stools. I only made one mistake in that I only bought two figuring I would buy a 3rd if it fit counter space. I do want a 3rd but not for 30% more than what I paid for the first two. Apparently they are popular, thus the significant price increase

Style is very cute, quality is just ok. Easy to assemble, a little wobbly but not too bad. I have teens and grandkids around and wanted something cute but that wouldn’t be too expensive to replace if they trashed it.

These are cute and trendy. The quality isn't like the greatest, but for the price- I think they're solid. I do wish they came in a leather seat to make for easier cleaning. I get compliments on these all of the time though and they look great in my kitchen!

Ordered the 4 pack. Received 1 chair. Customer service said "keep it, we'll send you a replacement 4 pack". They sent me 1 chair again. Now customer service wants me to return the 1, but the "promise" I'll get a refund for 4. And then purchase a 4 pack again. Want to take bets on what will happen? The chair is fine, we purchased one from Target (who can actually keep their inventory straight) and it's nice. Looks great in our kitchen. The sling back is not super comfortable but ok for a pretty cheep bar stool. But Amazon does NOT have it together in the bulk/heavy item department. ... show more

I’ve had these stools for over a year now and they’re amazing quality! They were easy to assemble by myself, comfortable and very durable! I have 2 toddlers who climb and spill on them daily and the material is surprisingly easy to clean up. Highly recommend these stools!

I've been eyeing these chairs for a long time and purchased two dining chairs, and two of the matching barstools to try them out. Unfortunately, they are being returned because the back of the chair is extremely low. At an averages height of 5'5, the entire top of my back is exposed with no support. It is very uncomfortable and almost makes you feel like you were going to fall backwards. Looks like a kids chair under me so I'd hate to see what this l chair this look like under a larger man. I really hate to return, as the material is beautiful, seats are firm and the color is nice. Everything else is true to description. I even searched for Black screw in pole inserts that might fit to extend the back up a bit, but to know avail. Very disappointing. If you are cool with a low back chair, this is the chair for you.
