I live in California and it gets warm. This comforter is very nice, but I should have purchased the one with lighter weight fill. My husband and I get warm and end up kicking the comforter off. I don't mind. I like the weight because it makes me feel like I'm being cuddled. It's easy to fall asleep with this. It's a little noisy at first, but it's getting better or we're getting used to it. I had got a blanket for my birthday from a friend. However, I felt like it was too heavy - so I was on the lookout for another blanket. My hairdresser actually showed me this and said she really liked it on her bed. Needless to say there was a coupon on the Amazon site and I used that when I ordered this to get a little bit of money off - which helped! Once I got this on my bed I was absolutely in love with this blanket! I realized I don’t like heavier blankets, I like lighter blankets, and this blanket is very light. It’s almost like having a sheet on your bed. I actually sleep with another thin quilt/blanket underneath it (instead of a top sheet) and it’s the perfect weight for me. It keeps me very very warm but not uncomfortably warm. I usually tend to turn my heat down a little bit at night and this is perfect to slide under, and I feel very comfortable! I actually liked this so much that I decided to buy one for my son too. I felt like he deserved a new blanket too. The only issue I have is I really like a blue version of this blanket too LOL - so I might actually buy a third blanket just to keep it on hand! I would very much recommend this blanket. I know there are some reviews on here that aren’t great - but I think if you’re looking for a light blanket that will keep you warm and be comfortable 👉🏻 this is a good one to start with! I don’t think it’s that noisy. It looks good on my bed. I am very pleased with it and like I said I bought I already bought another one - and I’m considering a third one and at this point! I might just get rid of all my so-so blankets in my house (and I have about 7 of them!) and just keep these on hand! I think they’re wonderful! so 2 things i want to point out that i was looking for when i was vetting reviews for this expensive ass comforter. 1. if ur looking for a pitch black comforter for your bed , this is not the comforter . although this comforter is amazing and super soft , it is more of a charcoal balck rather than the “black” that is is advertised as. additionally it is fluffy , pictures do not do it justice tbh , this is the exact comforter that i was looking for . for a clear understanding , this comforter does not look like the picture at all , it is however about 2-3 inches thick (in my opinion). it is insanely soft and comfy but again it is charcoal black and it doesn’t look EXACTLY like the pic but it is fluffy ... show more

This is my first down comforter so I don’t have anything to compare it to however it’s better than the $30 fake down I previously had. I would over heat with the fake one but I’m not waking up sweating in the middle of the night now with this blanket. I’m happy with this purchase.
