These stools are super comfy and sturdy, and the counter height is perfect for our kitchen island. Nice padding and the velvety surface has a lovely feel. The rings on the back are handy as well. These chairs have a higher back on them than most, which we like since we tend to lean back and rest in our chairs. I bought these two years ago, and they've held up beautifully even with some members of our family being a little on the larger side. We also have cats that love to jump up on them and lounge - their claws have not made any permanent marks in the surface of any of the chairs. The grey color and the color of the wooden legs was exactly as pictured. When I purchased, one of the stools had an incorrect piece for the connector on the legs. I messaged the seller and they promptly sent me the correct piece - fantastic customer service experience. All in all, highly recommend! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. UPDATED REVIEW: The seller reached out to me and quickly sent out replacement parts without having me disassemble the chairs. The final product is sturdy, holds over 200lbs and looks great. I changed my review to 4 stars for the great customer service. I do recommend, thanks again. I'm willing to change this review if the seller would contact me. Shipping arrived faster than anticipated. I assembled one chair and part of the other until I realized that part B and C were not drilled correctly to install part G. Amazon informed me my only option is to disassemble and return with no replacement option. Seriously! It cost to get this shipped and I'm certain it's going to cost to send back. This is a manufactured defect so why am I at fault? Please just contact me and send replacement parts. ... show more

    • Very pretty but some problems with workmanship

The barstools are very nice and pretty especially at that price, but the workmanship on the legs is a little lacking. On some of the crossbars the holes that were drilled for a bolt are either drilled to small or some had too much paint and would not let the bolt seat all the way in. The ones that the holes were too small I had to drill out with a spade bit to get to the correct size and depth so that the bolt supplied would fit, on the ones with too much paint I had to force the bolt in and scrape out paint. Also, on one of the legs the insert for the bottom of the leg cap was too deep for the screw in cap to grab sufficiently. Other than the above problems the barstools are very nice! ... show more
