This inexpensive little chemical applied in a tiny amount with a cotton swab can help to delicately remove unwanted paint or aid in remedying a mistake in a detailed painting project (not a huge project like painting a room, but a craft project). Most nail polish removers I've used take a long time and product to remove nail polish. The Cutex ultra-powerful one specifically removes nail polish so easily and quickly. I get that it’s probably used for and its main purpose is for nails. But I tried using it as paint stripper or remover, from my paintbrushes and paint because of its acetone content. It’s not really strong enough to do that, and I tried to use it to un-harden superglue as well, didn’t really work that great either. I have purchased this brand in the past, but this was my first time trying this "ultra-powerful" version. I have only just started working with UV gel nail polish. I did find it to be quite drying where it got on skin, but it did a great job of removing the polish, and my nails are not super dried out.
