I had dipping powder on my nails, and because of the stay-at-home mandate for the Virus, I was unable to go to a nail salon. I tried removing the polish by using tin foil wrapped around my nails, but it didn't do the job. I tried this product, thinking, "What do I have to lose"? It worked like a charm! After doing my left hand, my husband had to help me put the right one on. These clips stayed in place, and I was able to get all that hardened dipping powder off my nails. It's difficult to do both hands if you don't have someone to help with the other hand, so I suggest doing one hand at a time. ... show more

They are a little difficult to put on at first but you’ll get the hang of it as long as you don’t have arthritis or dexterity issues. They seem quality but only time will tell. I’ve used them 4 or 5 times so far and they’re not discolored from the acetone or rusting that I’ve noticed. They are a bit tight which I think is probably good, but without a little extra cotton they are uncomfortable to have on for 20 minutes. I’d recommend making sure you’re not stingy with the cotton. Once I started doing that it was like night and day. Overall much easier than trying to wrap your own hands in aluminum foil. ... show more

I love gel nail polish. But it is hard to remove. I have wrapped my nails in tin foil, but this is cumbersome and messy. These clips are essentially like clothes pins. They clip on your nails and hold a polish remover cotton ball in place. I do one hand at a time. Put on the clips and 5 minutes later, the polish is gone. I love these clips. I use color street nail strips and sometimes have trouble getting all the polish off without making a mess. (Hey, I'm a very senior "senior citizen") With these clips I cut a cotton ball into pieces, dipped them in some acetone and laid them on my nails and clipped them. After 5 minutes this is what they looked like with no rubbing at all. If they worked this well with the solid color strips, I can't wait to see how they work with the glitter strips., I found it much easier for me to do just one hand at a time. ... show more

Before using these, I tried in vain to remove glitter polish with straight acetone and a cotton swab. Foil comes off. These stay on your fingers well unless they get bumped. I left them on with the cotton and acetone and the glitter polish was off about 97%. Gel polish took about the same time and a little scraping or try a second round—just like the salon. ... show more
