I purchased this one to replace the one from Secret Base that kept breaking every 6 months or so. That one broke for the last time and as I was past the warranty period I decided I would find another usb chargeable frother. I was pleased to find that this unit is slightly heavier and of seemingly sturdier construction. It has some heft to it. It is very strong and does a great job on any stirring chore I have tried it on. The battery indicator light is a plus as it will let you know when it is time to charge and the charge does last for several days of daily use. Overall I really like it. The test will be to see if it lasts. Oh, and as a contrast to the Secret Base unit this one spins clockwise and not anti-clockwise. I think the other company has it's wires crossed in the their unit and that's why it spun the "wrong" way. May be why it kept failing to run. ... show more

The attachments and battery life are great. It's easy to use. Only real complaint is that it's almost too fast even on the lowest setting. I got this mostly to mix protein powder and milk. This would be great if I wanted it frothed, but I just want to mix the powder without all the bubbles. The hook-like attachment works best on the lowest setting, but still even mixes it too well. I've been using the mixer a couple of times a day for about about 3 weeks now. I've only needed to charge it twice. For the price this is this is a very acceptable mixer. ... show more

I’ve had several of these handheld mixing devices and I find this one to be the most powerful and easiest to use. Many times past units were not capable of handling the thicker shakes and I was required to use a much larger blender. This handheld rechargeable unit is clean, and has three power modes.
