Features

  • OUR MOST FLEXIBLE SUPPORT: The Back Rx is perfect for anyone about town. It minds the gap between all chairs and your low back at the restaurant, theater, school or business meetings. Have you ever sat in a comfortable church pew?
  • PORTABLE FOR TRAVELS EVERYWHERE: This product is the easiest way of making any car or airline seat extra comfortable. For driving, simply slip the loop from the right leg and the left will pick up the slack. This wearable chair inverts into a portable pouch for easy carrying and is the lightest of our current product line.
  • AUTOMATIC ADJUSTMENTS: The Back Rx "listens" to your back muscles and responds instantly to multiply the effort you exert for good posture.
  • WIDE ELASTIC BANDS: The generous width of the elastic guarantees more pressure dispersion of the leaning weight on the shins and the fabric flexibility smooths out pressure across bony and soft tissue.
  • RETRACTABLE STRAPS: When you're up and down, the elastic loops retract back around your waist so you can walk around the office without the look of a mountaineer. Worn under a sweater or jacket, the Back Rx can be ready whenever you need it.

  • Great invention
Have a few of these stationed at seats in my house. Good for travel. Great placeholder for posture. Not sure about “pain relief,” but I believe it prevents pain by assuring good posture, if poor posture can cause pain. Also is comfortable. I have the elastic nadachair and the non-elastic one. They’re both comfortable, and each has its place! ... show more

  • Not adjustable
I hardly ever write reviews, but thought I could be helpful with this one. I haven't gotten to try it for very long so I'm not positive on the back relief. However, I am a little chubbie... and this is really small. I put it on my 15 year old daughter she is pretty small and it fit her.

This crazy device couldn't be better. It's like pocket-sized perfect posture and has entirely banished the lumbar strain I used to experience from long hours of sitting. Unlike the original Nada chair (which I also like), the Back RX buckles at the waist and has a very low profile. I buckle it on in the morning and throw on my long coat and the thing becomes invisible. If I have a breakfast or lunch meeting I just slip the straps over my knees after I'm tucked into the table; no one notices and it makes sitting up straight effortless. I use it while sitting at my desk at work and whenever it's time to walk around I simply ease the straps off my shins and let them hang inconspicuously from my waist while I fetch coffee or make copies or talk to a coworker. It's not exactly a fashion statement, of course, but neither is it ugly and bulky. Several of my friends are now using the Back Rx and most are as impressed as I am. Somehow it actually feels *good* to use it! ... show more

  • Does NOT fit all sizes.
I was excited to receive this because I had bought one years ago at the Women's Show in Nashville TN. This is nothing like it. It doesn't fit all sizes, far from it. It is not adjustable and does not have to have these stretch knee elastic holder. I am so disappointed!! I want one like my old one. What I want anyone reading this to understand, it doesn't fit all sizes, It isn't adjustable at all. Only buy this if you are skinny or normal weight. ... show more

  • Not comfortable
The design idea looks very promising and lightweight, but if youre tall or have long legs, the elastic leg straps fit too tight and make the sitting experience uncomfortable. So youre better off going with the traditional Nada-Chair Back-Up, which I have. I thought about getting this option, but it didnt work out. ... show more

  • Simple and effective
After viewing the videos of the different chairs on nadachair.com, I decided to go with this one because of its simplicity and because it seemed best suited for what I was going to use it for -- meditation. I've had bad posture all my life, so sitting with a straight back was very painful and stressful for me. This chair makes sitting straight feel totally natural. The belt does have a lot of compression so I sometimes sit with the waist clasp open. I've always avoided having to sit in straight-back chairs, but this really does make it easy. It also works great on benches that have no backs. ... show more

  • Highly recommend.
Love love love this product. Car riding/driving has always caused issues with my back. This item helps me sit ensuring less stress on low back. Would have given a 5 star rating but the first day of use I noticed some of the stitching unraveling. Rather than return will just sew back and reinforce myself. ... show more
