I was told I probably have a small labrum tear and to rest and avoid painful movements. I initially got a sling but that restricted my movement more than was necessary (it's my dominant arm too!). This keeps me from moving my arm the wrong way until the tear heals or I can get in to see an orthopedist, without encumbering me unnecessarily. It's also more comfortable than the sling, which had a huge buckle that sat on my neck in JUST the wrong place and made me light-headed. The velcro on the arm of this brace pinches a little, and the band can be a little tight, but I do have kind of big arms. Wearing it over sleeves takes care of the pinching and so far I can wear the cuff for hours at a stretch without the tightness becoming too uncomfortable to ignore (and I'm a wimp about that kind of thing). Plus I figure it's gotta be a LITTLE tight to apply pressure properly without slipping. It really is made to work for both arms, and the way the strap is you can adjust it from either side. The velcro is not the big messy hooks that catch on everything, but instead is a shorter and less damaging hook style which nevertheless does not sacrifice holding power. I thought there was a pressure pad included but there’s only pouch. It does provide a level of support. I’m able to bench press more than before because it reduces the pain while lifting.

Just reserved mine and fits great. I like that he front strap hits around bust area. I returned another one cheaper but when I needed to tighten it, it rubbed against my neck. I brought it to my chiropractor to hit his opinion with my sprained/strained shoulder. He said it would help just do not leave on for long periods. The strap has some improvements to be made. it slides up during the day and requires adjustment often. It wears and causes pain which makes me wear the brace less, which causes my shoulder to hurt more. kind of a catch-22. It was a cheap attempt to see if it works- maybe more expensive route would have worked better? ... show more

Great brace for stability. I like the additional option for ice/hot pack. I’ve used an ice pack with it and it works great. I have not tried heat. It is very adjustable and the material is durable. Good value for price as well.

At first I was happy with it, but after about 2 weeks of wearing it the straps that hold it in place won't stay in place and the stitches holding the straps around the arm came undone. Wasn't very comfortable after a hour or 2 of work. I wouldn't purchase again to be honest

I bought these and was questioning if they wear gonna deliver with everything in description. I can honestly say so far the most comfortable, stylish, breathable,light pair of works shoes I've ever bought. Especially for the price.
