First, for reference, I’m a 5’6” female weighing 135-140 lbs with a 28” waist. I read other reviews on this product saying the small/medium fit well and others saying they couldn’t even close the Velcro straps despite all stating they read the sizing guide. Keeping this in mind, and reading the sizing guide myself, I ordered both the small/medium and the OSFM (one size fits most) to ensure I had the adequate brace for my size and needs. What I need is a back brace that will give me good support at work while I do tons of walking (I average 17K-20k steps during my shift) standing, and lifting for 8 hours five times a week and relieving my constant lower back pain. Both braces arrived today and the results are in. The small/medium is basically toddler size and the OSFM doesn’t quite cinch tight enough for support. I uploaded three side-by-side photos to give some reference to how vastly different the two (and only two) size options are. Btw, when I opened the small/medium, I thought perhaps the wrong item was sent to me (hahahaha…..nope, it was the correct item). I was able to Velcro the small/medium closed with a bit of pulling but it was way too tight and there is no way I could stand to wear that more than a few minutes max. The discomfort coupled with the super unflattering (and quite hilarious) view was simply beyond ridiculous (no one would take me seriously if I showed up to work with it on, actually, I’d probably be sent home or told to remove it). The OSFM is appropriately adult size, which is nice. However, I have to pull the Velcro all the way over to the edge to get it snug enough for support and, honestly, I’m not sure that’s enough support (disappointedly, there is no way to cinch any tighter). What I find odd is that I am having issues finding a size that fits me considering I’m average size (no one would describe me as tall or short, nor would anyone say I’m overweight or underweight). Just average and underwhelming. While I can’t speak to how it will perform at work, the sizing options alone, or lack thereof, make both of these, in my case, returns. Perfect velcro quality and compression is absolutely perfect fit. The design of this product is good for lumbar support and sitting in a chair all day. This product is not bulky and perfect to wear under your daily clothes. I can't complain it's so comfortable and durable to wear all day.

First, this review is geared more so for smaller people in search of a. Race that actually fits. I have a 24 inch waist and every single back brace has to be altered in order to fit and be worn properly. It’s costly and shortens the life of the brace. I took a chance on this one and THANK GOODNESS I did. Not only does this adjust to my waist but there is enough Velcro to go even smaller as the elastic stretches over time. I have had this one for an hour while raking and shoveling leaves, although not too strenuous, everyone with low back pain knows simple task can truly begin to hurt. This is not the case so far. I won’t over so it today but this brace makes me feel like I can! Game changer and I would absolutely recommend as well as purchase again. So grateful it works. ... show more

Product picture is wrong. Belt is much narrower than the picture. Be sure to check the width of the belt, if width is an issue. If you want a wider belt, do not purchase this one. Other than that, it's a nice product.
