I purchased this because I have spinal issues, needed support, and wanted to relieve pain. It is much more stable or supportive than my last one. It is easy to get on and off. It helps me to sit, walk, and bend in a correct position. It also helps make me more aware of how I move. The down side is that it still pinches under my arms. Also, the size is important. If you are heavier, be sure to measure your size.

Sizing is accurate. I bought a small for myself (5’2.5” 130lbs) and a large for my boyfriend (6’2”). I have hypnic jerks and grind my teeth when I sleep, so my shoulders tense up overnight, every night. It gets pretty painful. I also have bad posture due to a poor computer set up for work. This posture corrector helps stretch out my shoulders in the morning when I wake up after a long night. It’s completely changed my life. It’s a fast way to ease up my muscle tension. Once you put this product on, you’ll be amazed to finally understand what good posture feels like. Customer service is awesome as well.

Overall, the Fit Geno Posture Corrector is okay, but it has one significant flaw that prevents me from giving it a higher rating. The main issue is that it consistently rides up. No matter what I do – whether I wear it under or over my clothes – the top part keeps sliding up my neck to the point where it becomes visible and uncomfortable. It's a really odd design quirk that I didn't anticipate. I think this is something that needs to be addressed in future versions, as it significantly impacts the usability and comfort of the product.

I ordered a TLSO brace, but shipping was going to take too long, so I ordered this to try in the interim. I suffered a compression fracture of my T5, which healed wrong, causing a deformity and also taking 2" off my anterior height. It's very painful for me to both stand and walk, and often to even sit, so I had to have something. This isn't quite supportive enough for MY injury, but it does help quite a bit and is the most supportive of any other brand of this type that I've tried. Most thoracic fractures are T12 or lower, so my T5 fracture is very uncommon. Thus, I don't think there's anything negative about this brace at all. As I said, it's the best of any brand I've tried, and I think it's because it has two long metal strips going down the back and two shorter ones along the sides, offering much more support. That may make it sound uncomfortable, but it amazingly isn't at all. It also doesn't require someone else to help you put it on after it's been adjusted to your personal fit either, which most rigid TLSO braces do. I think Fit Geno put a lot more thought into the design of this brace than other companies. Most just have thicker material or magnets and neither type was of benefit to me. I had to walk a good distance from street parking on another block to my doctor and PT appointments just a few days ago. Normally, I would've been in terrible pain before even getting there, but this brace made a huge difference. Normally, I wouldn't be able to sit in a regular chair afterward either because the pain would be so bad that I had to lie down, but my pain was greatly reduced and made it possible to sit without the pain becoming any worse. This brace is pretty decent for me, so it may be perfect for people with different injuries. If your injury is farther down than the T5, since that is not common at all, this may work just fine for you. I'd recommend giving it a shot, as it is much less expensive than the rigid TLSO braces, and much more comfortable, too! This isn't labeled as a TLSO brace, so I'm not trying to say that it is. I'm just saying that it's a pretty good substitute for one, and you may not even require that type of brace, so I would recommend it over any other brands that are labeled to do the same as this one. My injury is very uncommon in its location and not correctable since it healed wrong. If those two things don't apply to you, then save yourself the time and trouble of ordering and having to return the wrong brace and just order this brace, period. Good luck. I hope this was helpful.

Hurt my back at work, and needed the extra support. After I went back to work the brace helped with the pain, and it kept my back straight as I lifted. Very light weight. Easy to put under my hoodie at work. You can’t even tell I am wearing it. Would definitely buy again.

For context I hurt my back in a car accident a few years back, compression fractures, and although it’s healed, I still get pain in my upper and lower back mostly due to work. I work in radiology and wear a lead apron for hours on end while scrubbed in to procedures. My shoulders feel rolled forward and it seemed like I was actually leaning forward when I walked due to the pain. My coworker purchased this first and she seemed to like it so I bought one too. It’s pretty easy to put on. Sometimes I have to look for a strap though. It feels nice to have my shoulders pulled back and my back straightened The only thing I don’t care for is when I tighten the shoulder straps the body part rides up and isn’t around my lower abd anymore. All in all I like the support it gives my back and shoulders and would purchase it again.
