I do a lot of rock climbing and need a very strong core. For years I've done various core exercises for 10 minutes a session 4-6 days a week on top of the rest of my workouts. I borrowed a wheel at the climbing gym and wow, nothing, and I mean nothing, gets the burn quite like an ab roller wheel! Sure, you can do a plank with arms extended above your head but that doesn't get the instability that the wheel creates. Such a simple piece of equipment that really works. I will warn that for novices they can be really difficult so work up to it and don't get frustrated if you struggle. This one is solidly made, I'm totally happy with it. I'll warn not to use it on a hard floor unless you are ok with marks as the rubber will leave marks on wood floors. ... show more

This is exactly what I've been wanting. I needed this especially since the gyms closed down and I'm working out from home. I've never had one, but my gym has one and I use it there every time I go so when they closed I didn't have this ab roller at home and had to get one. I assembled this as soon as I got it in the mail, and let me tell you, it was so easy to assemble. So this is definitely a great addition to my at home workouts. And I love love love how you can take it apart so you can easily store it and put it back together when you need to. I will also be bringing this to the gym once I go back so that I have my own especially since I want to avoid contact as a safety measure due to Covid. This has helped me a lot to strengthen my core and I would never stop using this. ALSO, the ab roller wheel at my gym had shorter handles and this one has longer handles which is exactly what I was looking for. I feel sore every single time I use this, it works every time! Wheel works great as you'd expect. The only issue is assembling the wheel. The package comes with the wheel, a shaft with one grip on, and a grip. You need to put the wheel on the shaft and then put the other grip on to secure the wheel. It took quite a bit of time to slide the grip on, but once it's on, it is very secure. ... show more

Many other reviews mention that the handle is hard to put on, but it was very easy for me to do so. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that anyone stronger than their grandmother could assemble it with ease. The handle is a little bit of a tight fit but its supposed to be, otherwise it'd just fall off. It took all of 10 seconds to slide it on and it is very sturdy once assembled. ... show more

I bought this a couple months ago and, at first, it was really tough and i pulled a muscle. I kept at it and gradually extended my 'rollout 'reach'. It really works the abs along with triceps and delts. Such an inexpensive tool for working on strength!

This ab wheel does the job but it was such a pain to put the handle on. Using water does help but it still was difficult. I’ll be keeping this to use as it’s certainly effective though. A problem I have are the grips moving left or right when doing exercises. It makes the wheel move also. The grips are the only thing keeping it in the middle. I have to move them back in place.
