Product dimensions state shelves are 24"x"14"; actual dimensions are approximately 23.2" x 13.4". Furthermore, these shelves are not "heavy duty" - more like "medium duty". I definitely would not trust them to hold 250 lbs as stated. I have a similar unit from another company where the the wire components of the shelves are comparable thickness and those are rated 150lbs. I gave this one star because it is steel as stated in the description. Sad that you can't trust accuracy in a product description these days. ... show more

It was easy to put together. The clips (that make it height adjustable) don’t go into the tubing easily so you need to be careful when pushing them in as not to move your height. It serves my purpose. I do wish I had thought about the wire racks as I’m using it for storing extra bottles of water & Gatorade and I have to place them on their sides.
