The ideal of a pump is great and helpful! Installation is ready a child could do it, charging the is very seldom….depending on how often you pump it probably, I don’t pump it all the time so I charge once I month. I also take tubing apart clean it with a large syringe and soapy water and rinse and re-sterilize with boiling water every 2 months that’s just me though, Very cheap for my knowledge for something that’s helping when I have disabilities, I prefer clean and clean drinking water. I purchased this to use in our camper as we don’t like to drink the campground water. This fits on the top of a 5 gal bottle and takes very little space. It does make some noise while pumping and can take some time to fill up the dog’s water bowl, but it doesn’t take long for a simple glass of water. We love this! We use it specifically for outdoor events so people can wash their hands rather than using hand sanitizer when handling food. (One party involved a petting zoo). Follow the instructions and boil the hose and rubber gasket for the top of the bottle. I had some pieces of something floating the in the water. This Water dispenser works great.
