  • Dynomite!
Just the extra boost that my garden needed!

  • Concentrated formula is 95 percent inert ingredients. Research below. I will test it.
I have been meaning to look into Mycorrhizal Inoculant for use in my greenhouse. And reviewing this gave me the impetus to do so. I pulled articles from my university website including Evaluation of commercial arbuscular mycorrhizal inoculants which I found to be the most useful, they used sterile soil and 12 different kinds of mycorrhizal brands in their experiment. 3 of the 12 brands were able to establish root colonization (they used corn) but at the end of the trial they did not see any significant change in output (either in biomass or in production) across any of them. The stats on this were done well, but of course they only used it for corn. I then read several other scientific articles and then went on the internet to read about people's actual experiences. It seems that if you use this in the actual ground the native mycorrhizal tends to dominate so it may be a waste of money. If you have sterile potting soil and are growing in containers this may help. That is based on my reading of gardening and greenhouse online communities. I am going to do a little experiment and put this on one of my self watering bins for tomatoes and use the other as a control. If I see amazing differences I will come back and post. I'm not sure about the “concentrated formula” since it says on the package that 95% of the ingredients are inert filler. ... show more

  • No signs of transplant shock yet?
The media could not be loaded. I just used Dynomyco to transplant two of my plants in the "vegetative" stage of growth. I moved them from 5 gallon to 7 gallon pots. (Shown in the video posted with this review.) It's currently the day after transplant, and both my girls are still looking healthy! I watered them immediately after transplant too and so far, so good. You might be wondering why I subtracted a star then? Before getting this Dynomyco to review, I'd been using another 'similar' product by a similar name to this one. (I won't name the brand or product because I'm not affiliated with either company, but it had worked very well for me up until this point.) I know this "Dynomyco" states that it is a much more concentrated formula, and I have no way to verify those claims, so I'm just judging the product simply on results. The results from the other mycorrhizal inoculum compared to Dynomyco seem to be very similar from my experience so far. It's almost difficult for me to personally tell the difference between the two, just judging by plant growth and stress levels alone. The reason I subtracted a star is because (at the time of my writing this review) for roughly $25 you get 7 oz of "Dynomyco" whereas with "the other brand" you get 2.2 lbs for about the same price. This stuff definitely seems to work well from my experience so far, and if you can get it for a discount or less than the the other common Mycorrhizal Inoculum, I'd definitely give this a try! I honestly can't say that I plan to switch to this brand though (or buy it with my own money out of pocket), unless they can bring the price down a little bit to compete with the other brands. (I know this is supposedly a concentrated formula in comparison, but the usage directions are also similar to the other brand, so I'm not sure exactly how concentrated it is.) ... show more

  • Great for gardening!
Great for gardening! I have used mycorrhizal inoculants before And I love what it does for my outdoor plantings. It’s too early up here in the north to start my plant so I can’t speak specifically on this particular brand other than to say it was well packaged in a unique and very cute dynamite stick. The contents looked fresh and I felt the price was a fair value and compared to other brands I have used. Come planting season I will update. ... show more

  • Good product for indoor plant propagation
I've been experimenting with some different products that will help my garden handle climate-related stress. The weather patterns in my region involve periods of heavy rain followed by blazing hot, dry heat. I've read that mycorrhizae can help plants tolerate weather extremes, so I am giving Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant a try. It's not quite planting season in my zone, but I have seeds started indoors. I used a couple of grains of mycorrhizae in each starter pot before putting the seed in. So far, my seedlings are looking really good! I used the mycorrhizae on my tomato, pepper, and eggplant seeds. They are all developing good root structures and lush green leaves. I will also use the mycorrhizae when it comes time to transplant the seedlings into the garden. I plan to sprinkle a bit into each hole before putting the plant in. I really like the clever packaging of this product. The tubular dynamite container doesn't take up much room, it's easy to find because of the red color, and it fits easily into my gardening supply bag. Overall, this seems to be a good product! ... show more

  • Super charge your roots!
I am so pleased with this Mycorrhizal Inoculant by DYNOMYCO! This concentrated fertilizer is designed to build and strengthen the roots of any plant in your garden and is so, so useful. Developed in the Israeli desert I love using this enhancer for my gardens here in our desert southwest to assist my plants due to the poor soil conditions and environment. This inoculant aids the roots of your plant in spreading, thickening and providing better nutrients to the plant itself from poor soil or tough conditions. I am so very very happy finding this and so very very happy with this product...thank you! ... show more
