My kids of 5 and 7 love it. The 5 yo can handle the mechanics, but ignores strategy, opting to just buy anything royal. The 7 yo picked it up immediately. The game plays much cleaner and more intuitively than the base game. I actually use it to introduce new players before the base game now.

    • Fun game!
I purchased Everdell a while ago and love it, but can only play when I have friends or family over. This has a solo option that allows me to play on my own. Next time I play, I will need to up the difficulty as it's meant for a younger audience.

We love the adult version of Everdell and this is such a great beginner, kid friendly game. Or a nice quick game for adults, too! Still engaging but playable for a wide range of ages (our 7 and 9 year olds can play alone). Thank you for making this!

    • Great intro to Worker placement for kids
Same cuteness as the original game, but way simpler. Obviously less depth than the original, but it’s a different game. It can be very rewarded for kids as they still need to think through their strategy and the paraders set great objectives.

My 10 year old needed a little help, and also my 7 year old, but I think another game or two and they would get it. Great entry to learn the mechanics for when they get old enough to play the main game. Also, just great entry for kids and adults who want a lighter worker placement game. Play is over 4 rounds, and you have 3 workers (actions) to perform actions, which is mostly collecting resources, with and then you can buy one card if you can afford it. The cards can make your actions you perform better, or give you actions just for you, or just produce resources at the beginning of rounds. Winner is the one with the lost points. ... show more
