It was very well packaged and item is as described. It isn't thick as you would get from a sherpa but then again this is not a sherpa blanket but solely fleece/velour material. I live in the south so it doesn't get real cold so this works for me. It is long enough to cover myself from my shoulders to my feet, of course I'm a Lil short (5'1"). My old cover-up throw was over 6 years so it was definitely time to replace it and I replaced it with this one. I'm happy with it so far. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because I haven't washed it yet so I can't speak of it's durability after a wash. I usually use it as a cover-up/ throw when I'm feeling a Lil chilled/ napping on my recliner and for that purpose it suits me just fine. This throw is ooh sooo buttery soft. The teal is actually a very bright turquoise. The picture is way off. Very misleading. Even in different lighting, it’s a very bright turquoise. Far from teal.

The blanket is soft and comfortable but it is PURPLE, not grey like I was expecting. It does not go with any of the other stuff in my color scheme!
