Perfect size for 1 year old. We have some silicone ones and I like them 😂 but my kid doesn’t. They’re almost too big for his mouth and hard to get food on them for certain textures. So I was looking for something more like real silverware so he can relearn to use silverware. He could feed himself when he was like 6-8 months old. And I couldn’t get him to eat with his fingers… then he learned to use his fingers and Wants nothing to do with eating like a human being with manners 🤣 so he’s relearning. And now that these actually hold stuff very easily/no effort and the perfect size he’s actually thinking about it! Lead free mama recommends these munchkin silverware too! So they are lead free! My 3 year old loves these utensils. They make him feel like a “big boy”, especially the knife in the set. They are fine in the dishwasher, colors are cute, easy to hold with small hands and durable. Nice and light weight but strong and easy for a toddler to use independently.
