Shipping was very fast. It was very easy to install on the Switch itself. It holds the Switch snug and securely without it too easy or too hard to remove. The textured grip helps a ton when your hands start to sweat. I also experienced no pain in my hour of play testing this case. I dare say it's as comfortable as a Pro Controller in portable mode with this case. The fit in the dock is a bit tighter than the stock Switch, but I had no issues getting it to dock while in the case. It's still much better the zero force insertion method the dock uses by default, often causing the dock to fall over, or worse, the Switch to fall out of the dock. Overall it's a very comfortable case with important feature of remaining dockable. I still strongly recommend using a tempered glass screen protector, as the dock can scratch the screen, but I can have peace of mind that if I drop the Switch, it's protected. ... show more

I was skeptical about buying this for my Switch when I saw other people claiming it is hard to snap into the dock with it on. I watched Youtube videos about this before my purchase. I have no issue getting this in or out of the dock. Sure the Switch slides in a bit easier without it on but I still have no issue and neither does my 8 year old son. The only issue I get is I put the system in a bit off centered sometimes and it doesn't meet the charge port. But that can happen without a case. When taking thew system on and off the dock with this case it just feels a bit more snug. As far as the case itself well...... Pros: -Looks frikkin awesome -Feels great (better than holding just the switch) -Joycons slide in and out of the case without removal of the case -Solid build and high quality Cons: - It blocks the kickstand (which is a piece of crap anyway) All in all its great. You can buy a more reliable kickstand for it and just dock the system with this case on it. Amazon Basics has a good one. I also recommend the Mumba Pro carrying case for this. After some months of use and many time removing them case to dock it there is zero marks on my switch and the case is still holding up strong. Just lift the case up just enough to freely remove the screen. Love this case for the switch. Says dockabke, reviews say otherwise. I haven’t tried to dock with it on nor will I. It is SUPER easy to slip off without scratching the switch. I saw some reviews where ppl said it scratched theirs up... user error. The case isn’t super firm. You slid the joy cons out. The top part of the case is super easy to lift up: I use both thumbs, raise up top and lean forward. I remove from case to dock every time I need to charge it and it hasn’t left one mark on my switch About a year and a half in, case is still in great shape, no marks on switch from removing to dock. So this is the second one I’ve got. The first one was the clear one. Loved it, gave it to my son. Since he dropped his switch a few times. I wanted the red one since I have the Mario edition switch. It’s a little tight to dock but it does dock and charge. Been playing handheld more since I’ve gotten the grip case. It’s great for my big hangs and gives me something to grip onto. ... show more

After reading and hearing some really good reviews I opted to purchase this case. It was in my cart on another site but didn't commit to purchasing it until I saw it here on Amazon in red! Out of the box it looked awesome. Then I put the switch in it with the JoyCons attached. I was thoroughly impressed. The feel in my hands was extremely sturdy and comfortable. The JoyCons are very easy to remove and replace and the Switch with the case attached easily fit into my Switch dock. I have the Animal Crossings New Horizons version which looks great in the case. Overall my expectations were exceeded and you shouldn't think twice about purchasing this case or the battle case. You won't be disappointed ... show more

Does not really fit. You can force it in, but I dont imagine that's good for the dock. Its very tight and every time I go to put it in I fear messing up the dock. I heard an odd clicking sound before too. Imo this might be the 'best docking case', but it fell very short. Should of listened to other reviews. That said it seems a very well make product. I enjoy the grips and how it feels in your hand and it feels very safe on the edges and back. The front will need a tempered glass cover. That said its a great case, just not dockable without risking damage to the dock. If you want a dockable case, this is not it. I dont think you will find one.
