I was tired of having to cross the bed to reach over to my wife’s nightstand to shut off the alarm clock so I ordered this one for my side. I like that it’s old style and similar to our other one. It is easy to set up and it has plenty of useful functions like the top usb ports and outlet. The FM radio has a good sound and the digital radio makes it easy to lock in radio stations. As others have mentioned you cannot set the alarm to wake up to radio. There are presets for the radio but for the life of me I have not been able to get that to work (see pic of the instructions). For me, the alarm beeping sound is fine and plenty of volume options. I don’t need the Bluetooth connection. If I could change anything about this alarm clock it would be to be able to set the alarm to a radio station and also to make the snooze button bigger. I was really pleased upon receiving this clock radio (for lack of a better name...) It features light grey LED display rather than the ubiquitous red LED's. It does everything an old clock radio will do and a whole lot more. For me, the power distribution on the top (one 120VAC outlet, and two USB) makes it. The extra power ports make this clock radio a real space saver when you are putting your phone and other rechargeables next to you on a modest size nightstand. It has two alarms for those people that either need to be waked up twice to finally rise, or you could set them for you and your partner at different times. The radio has mono audio quality like you would expect from a device like this, but the choices of alarms is enhanced with even BT pairing. The only "fault" if you call it that is you need to pair your unit to your Bluetooth source before going to bed in addition to having said source still be playing when the alarm is set for, or at least I can see no other way readily. So pairing to your music collection will do the trick. This is a nice clock radio combo that takes up little space while reducing your footprint charger-wise with the ports on top. FM reception is really good and there is an antenna wire coming off the back you can distribute for the best reception in your locale. This gets pretty loud too, for those hard sleepers. This alarm clock is a nice size and has some decent features to it. The display is big and easy to read; it has 3 dim levels and completely off if you want. It can do all your basic alarm clock functions with a built in FM radio and bluetooth functionality. You can set 2 separate alarms which is nice. The alarm functionality is a little lacking from even basic alarm clocks though. What I mean is that you can’t change the alarm sound, nor can you have the radio or bluetooth go off instead of the “beep”. The only option is a somewhat annoying “beeping” sound it makes. There are 16 different volume levels you can set though, so at least there’s a little customizability there, but the fact that you can’t have it turn the radio on instead? Even my basic alarm clock from the 90’s could do that. The speaker is about what you would expect from an alarm clock. I will say the best feature about this though is that there is a USB-A port as well as a USB-C port AND a normal AC outlet so you don’t have to lose an outlet by using this. The USB ports give the added charging functionality we all need these days. That’s a big plus for this device. Another nicety is that the cord is not wired directly in the unit. It’s just uses your standard figure 8 or infinity icon style cord so in case something happens to the cord, you can easily replace it. I had a different alarm clock that used a USB-A to barrel plug adapter which are not easy to come by, and it broke so I wasn’t able to replace it easily. Overall, it’s a decent alarm clock if you can live with the fact that you can’t set the alarm to sound the radio when it’s time to wake up. ... show more
