  • THE BRUSH HEAD: Made from silvertip fiber, the tips are very soft with a stable middle section. It produces a pleasant, soft sensation on the skin when the lather is applied, without forgoing the desired firmness of the hairs in the lathering process.
  • USE: Wet the brush under warm water. Next, place shaving soap or cream into a bowl or cup and dab your desired amount onto the brush, proceeding to gently work it into a lather on the skin. Use a MUHLE razor for a clean shave, rinse, and repeat.

I purchased this Muhle Classic Silvertip brush for traveling, but I find that it would work as well at home. The Silver-tip Badger fiber is very fine, soft, and of very good quality. I was concerned it would be too small but it works fine. The base of the handle measures 1 3/8"D, handle 1 3/4"H, brush height on mine, 1 /13/16". The 2 piece adjustable plastic travel case I purchased for the brush is too long. Plan to modify it for a fit. 9-2022-I was finally able to use this brush on a trip. It worked great. ... show more

I got the brush for travel. It is a little small for everyday use, but it could be done. The brush needs a little bot of time to break in to the the softness to be like a silvertip brush. I can make a great lather with it, but it does not hold as much water and heat as a silvertip.; and for me, it is nice that you do not need to kill any synthetics to make the brush. All in all, I would recommend it, especially for those DE users who travel. ... show more

The size is smaller than the usual cheap brushes you find in chain pharmacies, so make sure that the dimensions will fit your stand if you have one. It is extremely soft, but the true value will come out in durability over time. I expect the life of the brush to last at least 5 years, so we will see. ... show more

Gentle and smooth bristles, that treat my face nicely. As with the Art of Shaving razor, it is expensive, but if you're in the mood for a splurge, this won't disappoint. And I'm sure it will last, just as its predecessor did.

This shaving brush is well made. However, it was my mistake to purchase a synthetic brush. The brush does not make a good lather with shaving soap, and is too stiff to allow you to work the little soap you do get into your beard. It does better with a shaving cream, but you really have to work hard to make it form a decent lather on your beard. Ultimately, this brush is not what I'd hoped. If I had it to do over, I would not buy a synthetic brush, and will stick with genuine badger hair from now on. ... show more

This brush has become my favorite, and I like it better than my mid-grade badger brush. Creates a very good lather with either Proraso Shaving Cream or TAOS Shaving Soap.     • NOT Real Badger, bristles are synthetic
This is a disappointing review to write as I had spent more for this product trying to avoid brushes with fake badger hair. This one is fake too. they are nice synthetic bristles but not natural. the brush is very soft but I think I will have to return it. It's very soft, softer than the real badger brush that just arrived from Fendrihan and softer than the synthetic I have been using for years. Disappointing, the advertising is quite misleading. "Badger fiber" does not mean that the fibers come from Badgers, it's a deception. Muhle states that the bristles are synthetic, I wish they had made that more clear. ... show more
