It helps stop bleeding (I have a styptic pencil for cuts that are worse) and it also helps with preventing razor bumps on my neck on particular. Nice unscented alum block that comes in a plastic case. It really does stop the shave burn when I use it. It also has been helping to close up my pores and stop the little bleeding that happens with a nick. Good deal, I recommend this one.
