  • WONDERFUL Tech Support and a nicely designed board
This story starts out a bit negative, but I promise in the end MSI really shines. They provided absolutely wonderful Tech Support and won me as a customer for life! I received my MOBO, started the PC build, and (for my first time ever) encountered every builder's nightmare. Sigh...the build simply didn't work! So...there I am, $2K worth of parts, trying to guess where I failed. After a lot of time swapping components, I focused on the MOBO. Then, I finally gave up and called Tech Support. I should have done this earlier. To my surprise, someone answered the call right away. Even more surprising, the representative was knowledgeable about the product. He actually listened to the problem. He listened to what I had tried already. He suggested a couple of additional things I could try. The suggestions were insightful and helpful. Unfortunately, we both concluded that this was one of those rare cases where the MOBO was faulty. He suggested I return it to Amazon and get a new one. The replacement board worked like a champ! MSI appears to be a company that values customer service. This is a rarity in the modern world and deserves a commendation. I was AS grateful for what the representative didn't do as I was for what he did do. By this, I mean that he didn't make me repeat tests I already performed. He didn't run through a script of things I could try that were unrelated to the problem. He simply had me perform a couple of on-point tests that I had missed. Previously, I had been a long-time ASUS customer. I had a terrible experience with their customer service. I was simply trying to get some pre-sales information. So, I decided to give MSI a try. The experience was night and day. ASUS has lost me with terrible customer service. MSI has won me over, for life, with amazing customer service! Since I build PCs, as a hobby, for friends and family, they have also won all of those customers as well. And, at this point, a shout out to Amazon as well. Their easy return policy really saved the day for me. I'll never buy parts from anyone else again. ... show more

  • Very stable board
Selected this mother board after weeks of research. I am not a gamer, but wanted something that would give me the best performance possible (with a core i9-14900k) and be able to maintain thermals to a point I could have a silent PC with air cooling. Setting BIOS to Intel recommended settings, and using a Thermalright contact frame, Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet, a Noctua NH-U12A, in a bQuiet Pure Base 500 FX case, the PC is completely silent under normal operation. Running a benchmark can spin up fans, and also produces great results. Very happy with this combo. ... show more

  • NO PROBLEMS
Integrated graphics is more than adequate if you're not doing 3D gaming or similar demending uses. The four M.2s are a big plus for me. As motherboards go, it was (relatively) easy to work with. I didn't run into any problems with if.

  • A delicate motherboard unworthy for a gamer
It didn't even last one week. It's dead. MSI seems to have an issue with motherboards when putting your computer to sleep. The last time I put this motherboard to sleep, it never woke up. It's bricked. My previous motherboards were MSI and I always encountered some sleep or POST issue, but I thought maybe if I upgraded to this newer motherboard, I would no longer be having issues. Maybe they fixed it. Apparently not. You need to update the BIOS to supposedly fix it, but I'll never know if it did since it bricked before I even had the chance to see it. I moved to a competitor motherboard because I've been out of a PC for a month and I needed one right away where I'm confident my computer will not brick. Another point, I noticed when I had the NZXT monitor software, it didn't detect the readings from my GPU, so it wouldn't give me temps and clock speeds for some reason. No issue with the competitor board that I'm using to write this review. It's a minor inconvenience, but this motherboard is over the 250 USD tier. It's supposed to be premium, and it's not. Overall, an exercise in wasting money. ... show more

  • BEFORE YOU BUY
It is a beautiful mobo and works incredibly well, just understand you need windows 11. This mobo will not run windows 10!! So have it ready on a usb or pre loaded on your ssd/hdd before installing this mobo

  • Good motherboard but needs to stop with Norton
This is a good motherboard with a number of good features. However! They build a pop up window into the system which recommends Norton Antivirus over and over! Come on! Not cool! Besides that I like the software that comes with managing the system. But I don’t use Norton and I don’t like the pop up window suggestions. MSI really needs to fix that! ... show more
