Decided to go with a refurbished GPU to save a few bucks. Its not always a bad way to do it and can definitely get you some good parts for less money. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. On day 2 of having the gpu installed, with gpu mount, the GPU started to fail. I was getting green dots, and green lines, all over the screen. The hardware would not work no matter what I tried for about 2 days. After doing some trouble shooting I got the GPU back into my machine and it work for another 2 days. Thats all. It shut down never to be seen again. This specific unit was defective and I put in for a refund/return so I can buy a new one instead. This doesnt mean everyone will have the same issue, but be aware it is risky to buy the RTX 3070 refurbished, especially with all the issues they have when bought new. ... show more

The card lasted for about 6 months of light use ( I mainly game on xbox). It's a bit of a gamble on a refurbished card so use caution.
