I've owned the original version for over a year and finally decided to upgrade. These are excellent devices, especially now that it can also serve as a charger for small electronics/phones. I keep ours deflated on the window seal, so they maintain direct sunlight for charging and at the ready during a blackout. It's quite bright and portable. INITIALLY the USB power output worked ok to charge phone a few percentage higher, albeit quite slowly, great to power a tiny USB fan for sleeping in tent... BUT after completely draining the battery one night when I left the fan on, I've been charging it in the sun for a week now and the handy battery power monitor on it is only up to 3/4 capacity. UPDATE... 6 months after purchasing and having only used it a few times the USB charging port does not work at all. It's just a regular solar light now ... show more

This little solar lantern is fantastic! It’s light-weight, charges up fast, and puts out a brilliant, bright light. We used it for the multiple safety black outs in California. We’d use them at night and recharge them the next day. Loved it!

    • Luci PRO Outdoor 2.0 took DAYS longer to charge than Luci Outdoor 2.0
Cons: Took the Pro 2.0 around 5-7 days to charge while sitting side by side with the Outdoor 2.0 not labeled Pro. The plain 2.0 took two days to reach full charge. The Pro 2.0 took between 5-7 days. Both were in full sun from 10am to 6pm, but the UV factor was quite low (1-2). Still, the Pro 2.0 with USB took days longer to charge to full level. We thought they were hard to blow up even while pinching the valve with our teeth. Pros: both very bright, lightweight. One has muted color, the other very electric white. I'd rate the plain Outdoor 2.0 without the USB a 5 stars. ... show more

This light is a little gem. Solar powered charge lasts a long time. During a recent 12 hour blackout it lasted all the way through, illuminating the first floor living room/kitchen and charged my iPhone completely as well. I’ll be buying a few more.
