One thing to consider is that because of the compact size of this you can't close the lid when you're playing an album. I would prefer to close it for dust protection and to keep my cat from trying to touch it. The record player itself is awesome, but we noticed the table that spins the records is warped. I came to find out that others also have this issue. The player was a gift, and my wifes sister got the gift late, so no exchange. The volume and overall quality are great, but the small mechanics are a bit cheap ... show more

It does work, so there is that to say about it. Beyond that it sounds awful and sibilant. I had hoped to hook it up to my receiver to play out of the better quality setup but wow is that a terrible idea. It only amplifies the tinny sibilance of the sound the included speaker output. The Bluetooth does not transmit the record music but is only there to receive audio from your cellphone which came as a surprise to me. Why the hell would I want to play my phone thru this poor sounding speaker setup when the same money will sound much better by 10x thru a similiar priced Wking D10? So the bluetooth is a nonsensical addition to the package. I will be returning this asap ... show more
