    • Totally cool for backyard concerts or Karaoke.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for one reason: to do little outdoor neighborhood shows WITHOUT needing to plug in to AC power! I had wanted one of the expensive systems by the big names but just could not justify the high cost of admission, so I thought I'd give this a try. Is it as good as a system that costs 3-4x as much? Probably not, but it sure is PERFECT for my use and at a great price! Check out my video review, it's kinda silly, and my 8-year old daughter filmed it, so go easy on me :-) Here is what I can tell you about this: 1) I'd say in genuine RMS watts, this is about 40-80 watts RMS. Plenty loud for a small backyard Karaoke or concert ... but nowhere near the "540 watts peak power" claimed. 2) The wireless mics work GREAT, but they are very sensitive, so don't get to close if you sing loud or they will distort!! Also, they are on the same channel, so they do not have independent volume controls for each mic, just one for both. 3) The Echo is PERFECT, just a nice slap-back, that is right for almost any music ... just don't use too much or it might sound cheesy ... a little goes a long way! Oh, and it ONLY affects the microphones, not the background music. 4) The Bass and Treble controls control ONLY the music volume, not the microphones ... which is okay because the mics sound great, and that way you can crank the bass on your music track without messing up the mic sound :-) 5) The Bluetooth connects well, sounds good, and stays paired. 6) The battery lasts about 2-3 hours when using the system at FULL volume ... I imagine it lasts a lot longer when used at a lower volume. 7) I didn't use it to play media from a USB or Micro SD card, so I can't speak to that ... but I'm sure it works fine. 8) The included holder will hold anything from my phone to my 12.9" iPad pro. 9) My daughter LOVES the little disco light ... but I find it not so appropriate for my real concerts ;-) She's already planning a Karaoke nigh for her class at school as soon as schools open. It will be sooooo easy to just use this with NOTHING extra! Okay, that's about all. I plan to use this for outdoor concerts at retirement homes this fall, and I think it will be perfect. So simple and easy! Don't even need an AC outlet. ... show more

First let me say, this machine is by no means a professional piece of equipment which costs thousands. I didn't purchase it to be. I purchased this machine for my daughter and I to mess around with and I will say, it does everything I thought it would. I'm very happy with it and I feel the price is fair and the quality is great for what it is intended to be. I have not had any issues with connecting it to Bluetooth or the microphones and I love that it's on wheels with a handle so I can transport it easily. It's great for entertaining. All in all, it's a great purchase. Note to unhappy buyers: Its seems like you thought you were purchasing professional equipment. Here is some prospective; If you are looking for something you can control, that will make you sound like you can actually sing, you may want to look for actual professional equipment. This is not a sound studio, it's a keraroke machine on wheeles. The mics are good quality AT THIS PRICE POINT. Can you get better? Absolutely. But you will also spend a lot more. A professional microphone will cost around the same, if not more that this machine combine. Professional equipment is a lot more detailed and will not come on wheels.     • No quick setup guide?
It came with a user manual in multiple languages. I looked at the English section and saw that it basically tells you what each of the buttons, knobs, switches is used for. And a bunch of safety rules. All of this is useless to me. I was looking for a quick setup guide since this is the first time I bought a portable Karaoke machine. There was no quick setup guide. I had to go on Youtube and even so most people just review the machine but does not show out to set it up. I figured out on my own how to pair my phone with the machine and was able to use Karaoke video from YouTube. However, I quickly got tired of looking at my phone for the lyrics so I figured out how to pair my phone to my TV via BlueTooth. The way it works is like this. The two micro phones that come with the machine are already paired with the machine so you don't have to do anything. What you need to do is pair your phone or tablet with your TV. Basically, you use the microphones and machine to sing (your voice comes out of the machine) while you look at your TV which plays the music video and displays the lyrics. The micro phones are very light and seems cheap to me but they pronounce decent vocal sound. You also have to do some adjustments on the machine such as echo, mic input, treble, bass, etc. to achieve the best output. Bottom line is the performance is decent for home based Karaoke. Definitely does not produce the sound quality of professional instruments. Since this is my first Karaoke machine, I can't compare it to anything else. ... show more

I ordered this karaoke machine based on reviews; wanted something a step or so up from low-end machines. I had no experience with karaoke devices but found this easy to pair via bluetooth to our devices and to balance the sound, etc. I passed out numbered "tickets" to the kids at the party so they knew when their turn was to sing. Everyone from age 4 to senior citizens had fun singing with the wireless mikes being safer than corded ones. The sound was great; there were some comments about the "mean owl face" but we had some pretty "mean" singers (I mean really good!) We look forward to our next big party, probably Christmas, to bring on the soloists with the Christmas carols and songs we love to sing. One family member with developmental disability loves getting to sing with this as it is a favorite activity at the day program she attends. And we had one very shy adult who picked up the mike when we thought we were done; she belted out a song we never expected. This really is a great activity and a great device to facilitate the party. Will be used for other things too, in the future! ... show more
