The media could not be loaded. These were easier to put up than regular blinds. These are the darkening shades so they have texture on the material that looks high end, not just your plain white plastic shade. It only took a couple of weeks to arrive, and they were packaged well. I received with no damage. They have videos on line on how to program but the instructions included were easy to follow, so I didn’t need the videos. These blinds are by far the best price I found and you can save so much money installing them yourself. I've had these over a year and have been very happy with them. The fit was perfect for my window, installation was simple, and it does a pretty good job at blocking the light. There is always going to be some tiny amount of light coming in around the outsides, but I installed mine to be on the outside of the window frame to reduce that to a very small amount. In a perfect world, the bottom part would somehow stick closer to the wall to remove all light, but my guests and I have been happy with it. ... show more

Okay so first off, the instruction manual is terrible. So I highly recommend watching the youtube videos on the QR code found on the manual. It shows things it doesnt tell you for installation, and will help you setup a proper max upper height and max lower height. The videos saved me after pulling down to check how it will sit, and then found out I needed to program it in order to have it work properly. I got the outer version as it looks nice, and my specific window would not look nice if I went with an inner version. The remote is beautiful and I love that it comes with a wall mount, so you can put it where ever you'd like and or most need to use the remote. It has dramatically helped cool down my room, and it compliments my rooms theme and color pallet perfectly. It was a lot easier to setup than I initially thought, and I highly recommend this if you are trying to make your room feel more mature and stay within a minimal appeal. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. To be 100% clear I discovered that these blinds do NOT directly connect to Alexa or Wi-Fi. For you to connect this to your smart home you will need to purchase a Broadcom IR/RF pro blaster. This was not clear to me when I purchased them and I was upset that they did not work directly with my smart home. On the other hand, they are very well built and very nice materials, easy to install and very happy with the overall product. Would be a perfect product if it worked directly with Wi-Fi instead of requiring additional equipment that is in small print and easy to miss. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Ok! So I read all the other good reviews and pulled the trigger. NO REGRETS! This is by far the coolest feature in our home. We installed these in our rec level to be able to go full blackout for movies. Also we lower them during the day to block out heat to save money on the cooling bill. So the directions are not that clear. However, we were able to install using the video. We ordered the solar panels. No regrets. Even though the blinds themselves hold a long charge we wanted to have a more professional blind install that we didn't have to worry about plugging and unplugging blinds. Now how to install the solar panels?? No instructions. So we just used the clear tape that holds everything and taped it to the window behind the blinds. Hopefully this works for the long term so far so good. We ended up with 5 remotes each being able to program 6 blinds each. We didnt see an option to just order 1 upgraded remote for all 6 blinds when doing the Customization. So we ended up paying an upcharge for each remote. Seems like they should have a way for you to only select 1 upgraded remote. As far as programming. Fairly simple. I programmed all blinds on setting 1. As you can see in the video blind 4 is a little slower. I'll need to deprogram and tweak that. I suggest you program all blinds for the stop position on each individual setting first then switch all blinds to fhe same setting. I'll do this soon. But in any event we LOVE these blinds. If they come in some nicer textures patterns I would order some for my bedroom. Total install time 1 1/2 hours. Total programming time 10 minutes The Alexa integration we will get to but really no need for now. 5 stars!! ... show more
