Bought 3 to replace ones I had purchased at Costco due to the LED drivers going out. I was unsure at first (my older ones were bigger and prettier) but that was just my opinion. These work great especially for the price. I bought cheap LED bulbs from Amazon and they work perfectly together. The %20 mode is I nice feature I didn’t think I would like, dusk to dawn still works perfect so I never have to turn the switch off, and the motion detector if anything works from a little to far away. I bought a pair of these to replaced the aged lights at my moms front door. They look great, especially the glass(old wavy look). The only complaint I would have at all with these is with the installation. The mounting bracket has two screws that are just way too long, and while they do include shorter replacement screws, those are even still too long to surface mount this fixture and be able to use the included painted acorn nuts. I just had to look around the shop for a few regular nuts to attach the fixture securely to the wall. Other than that, we're very pleased with these. This light is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble, in fact the mounting bracket was the same as the old one. I did not have to change them out. It has a switch inside to make the standard operation low or higher light. The high is the 30% luminance mode. Both modes kick on to 100% when motion is detected. I have this by my front door and have a windmill in my front yard out by the street. I was concerned it might keep setting it off with the motion, but that is not the case. I highly recommend this for a light that is on in a dimmer mode most of the time but kicks on higher when motion is detected. I would definitely buy this again. ... show more

Aside from looking very nice, I am impressed that the photo sensor works so well given that the front door is under over 4' of roof and on a side of the house that received very little direct sunlight, and that is only from 0800-1100. The lights do not turn on until about 1800. Additionally, the motion sensor operates very well, only reacts to cross motion (rather than motion perpendicular to the motion sensors) and it does not react to the dogs going in & out. Works as described. Never have to turn on or off. Been installed for months and works every time. Using a 60 watt led clear bulb and looks great. Only issue ~ wish it had glass on the bottom also. Wasps love making a nest inside.

First, let me say I have changed out outdoor light fixtures several times but I am a do-it-yourselfer, not a pro. I now live in a development that has big spaces between residents, no street lighting or sidewalks and can be VERY dark on a moonless night. My newly constructed home had not included any motion detector lights and I like the idea of them for security. I removed the similar sized standard lights on either side of the overhead garage door and installed these, carefully sealing the connection area as noted in the instructions. I installed some LED vintage look bulbs (Vintage LED Edison Light Bulbs, Dimmable Daylight White 5000K ST64 LED Filament Light Bulbs, 10W, Equivalent 100W, 1100 Lumens High Brightness LED Antique Bulbs, CRI 90+, E26 Medium Base, Pack of 4) I found on Amazon. These are very energy efficient and very bright. The lights have auto on at dusk at 30% brightness and go to 100% when motion is detected for a short time. The detection range is quite far and the lights turn off at dawn. I have purchased several different makes of this type of light over the years and this make and model has been the easiest to install. Good Luck! ... show more
