This pen is great for a rabbit or small dog. A larger dog could easily knock it over if it was not anchored to the floor/ground. The spacing of the bars is large enough (too large) so that a hamster or small rabbit could fit its head through and become stuck.

We purchased this pen for our small Jack Russell puppy so we had something to put her in while doing yard work, or doing something that we she doesn’t need to be in the middle of. It’s easy to move around the yard so she’s always in our site. It’s good for small to medium size dogs.

This is one of the best purchases I've made in a while. When planning a litter of puppies, I knew when they were ready to leave the whelping box, I was going to need a safe outdoor area for them that I could put up away from the dirt and on a surface that could be cleaned and sanitized. The standard X-pen (truly foldable compact pen) isn't sturdy enough so I looked at these. I bought something similar twenty years ago but it wasn't as strong as the ones they make now or as easy to assemble. These have been great and I am sure I will get more in the future if needed. I highly recommend them if you need a movable/rearrangeable pen for small dogs or puppies. These are not meant to keep in dogs that challenge fencing. While the frames are reasonably thick the wire is thinner than the standard welded wire. I'd guess 16 gauge at most. ... show more

I love everything about this. My German Shepherd will go and lie in there at times. It holds the dog posted and another collie perfectly. They can relax and move around. So much better than a traditional kennel.

Great height and size. We ended up using only six of the eight panels. Our only complaint is that it’s still light enough for our dog to move around. We often came home to the play pen in a hexagonal shape in the middle of the room.
