Description

Mothers California Gold Brazilian Carnauba Cleaner Wax Liquid - 16 ounce has been designed to be the one-step plan for paint preservation. It is formulated to clean and protect in just one application. It uses the same Brazilian number one yellow carnauba that makes the pure Brazilian carnauba wax so special. It combines it with a light polish that will smooth minor flaws and make your paint snap. The Brazilian carnauba cleaner wax is especially effective on fiberglass and gel coats. It was previously known as the California gold carnauba cleaner wax.

Have used this product for several years. The product is fine. The original order was damaged in shipment (leaked polish). Requested a replacement-the replacement had to be a previously returned item as the cap was loose and the polish leaked substantially inside the shipping box. I like this wax because its easy to apply to black paint. It didn't leave streak and cleaned it up. I've tried a few waxes and this was the easiest. There are some polymers that work too I like but this is still the easiest.

Just waxed our RV with this--goes on easy. We had a lot of oxidation so I suspect that made it harder to remove (unsure if the previous owners ever waxed or not). Trailer looks great now that we're done. Would rebuy this product. Smells nice (not too strong) and definitely applies well.

Central Arizona's climate isn't kind to paint finishes. Granted, we don't have snow and ice so we don't get any harsh chemicals and salt on our roads but we do have dust storms, 300 sunny days per year, and summertime temperatures that get between 110 and 120. You see a lot of vehicles here that are losing their ClearCoat. But, not mine. I hand wax both of my vehicles twice a year. I used to use an electric buffer but found that it wasn't useful in tight spots and I was afraid I'd burn the paint (and waxing is also pretty good excercise). I'm not brand loyal but I do stick to the major brands and I always use a liquid rather than a paste wax simply because it's easier to apply and I don't see any difference in the final outcome. This wax went on exceptionally well. I applied it with a microfiber cloth. I got a nice even coat and didn't have to wait too long for it to haze so I could buff it off with another microfiber cloth. Buffing it was also easy as it came off without much effort. I had a few what I'll call "rubs" on the paint, i.e., visible marks that didn't break the ClearCoat, and this wax removed all of them. The final results were outstanding. I waxed the car in the garage but pulled it outside to better see if I'd missed anything and, if I must say so myself, I did a great job. I really like this product but the seller shipped a previously open container (see photo) which upon inspection appears to be ok, their not being forthcoming with the product is why I rated them lower
