I bought my E-Trike because I'm 68 and recently had a complete knee replacement and decided to switch from my two-wheel Schwinn bicycle to the trike. once you get used to the 3 wheels it so much easier to ride without having to balance on two wheels. Loving my electric trike.

Was a lot more to put together than I was expecting, the back basket had come with these cheap sheet metal clips that would cut you so mine is held together zip ties plus it looks better, the seat is so sub standard the back rest will not stay in place no matter what you do the tightening srew attachs to the back the seat pad which is 1/8 thick plastic you cant tighten enough there is no tinsel strength there for you, setting the brakes broke the cable tring to set them poor quality, the derailleur came twisted, haven't been able to get that right yet, and welds look like they just learning how to weld no nice flows. I'm a engineer so I know what I'm talking about when it comes form, function, Quality, and battery without pedal assist only gets 16 miles and its dead i only have 1 leg so peddling is out the question now other one from different company i get 82 miles without assist but instructions are very good i would say ... show more

The bike might be ok if I can get the handlebars to tighten. Iam having that trouble and tried to call customer service to get help like it says in the web site. The only thing you get is someone telling you to send in a email and they will get back to you and was very rude doing that. The operator would not let me talk to a supervisor or anyone and just hung up on me also would not give me their name. So if you have trouble be fore warned as to what is going to happen. ... show more

I could not get a 2 wheel bike because my back spasms. I would fall over when they happen. My son assembled it so I don't know how stressful that was but riding it is so fun. I was very scared at first. When you ride on a slant you feel like your going to fall over but you eventually learn to lean with it. This makes shopping and going on errands so much better. My 2 dogs (12 lbs & 8lbs) fit in basket perfectly. I got some some short like 4 inch leashes to strap them in good. I use harness and clamp to front and back of harness so they can't jump out. I get stopped all the time about how cool the bike is. I live in coastal San Pedro Ca. A very hilly area. This gets me up every hill. I have to pedal with it but it's not strenuous. Just remember to put in 1st gear and power assist level 3. I recommend this to anybody yound or old handicap or not. I ride EVERYDAY! The battery last forever. Goes from dead to full charge in about 7-8 hours. When this one goes I will definitely get another but hopefully that won't be for 5-7 years from now. I don't regret it at all. Also when assembling the basket I got 250lb zip ties to hold it together on sides and to attach to bike. The metal sheets they give eventually fall off so if you have precious animals or groceries in basket and you want them to make it home safe get the zip ties. ... show more
