I have back and neck issues and I was constantly switching pillows and shoving pillows between my knees and waking up with a sore back or neck. So I decided to buy this. It's very heavy for me,( I'm less than 5 ft 90 lb), but its solid. It takes up half of my queen size bed which is difficult because I have a huge Rottweiler but we make it work. Just unsightly under a comforter and I don't have anywhere to stash it. it's very well made and the cover is super soft. The first few nights I woke up hot but it's definitely helped my neck and back pain so use a light blanket and fans. The only thing for me is because I'm so small if I'm laying on it the stitching on the inner part of the cover hurts my neck and shoulders but I just adjust myself around it. I suggest they use a single stitch down the center but I'm guessing they made it this way so won't be easy to rip. At first I couldn't decide if I loved it or hated it but I have to say I do love this thing. It can be annoying to get the cover back on but it's worth it. If it gets kind of flat in a spot just toss in the dryer for 20 minutes on low. I also lay on top of it with a comforter over it and adjust my bed up so I can watch TV and man this thing is comfortable LOL if you're a side sleeper this thing is awesome! Update.. still love it but had to take the cover off cuz I get too hot. Need to find a cooler cover as wrapping a sheet around it doesn't work well if you're trying to wrap your arms and legs around the sides. ... show more

I sent this to my friend who had recently fallen and fractured her left shoulder. Thankfully no surgery was needed, but arm was in a sling. She had talked about getting a body pillow when I came across this pillow. Looked like the perfect thing for her! After she got it and set it up she called to tell me how much she loves it. She lives the soft covering for it. She said the quality it so good. She can nestle into it and it doesn't slide around. We are both 72, so comfort at a time like this is so important. I would recommend this and the price is very reasonable for the good quality. She's comfy, and I'm happy. A win win ... show more

I’ve had another U shaped pillow for a few years and I loved it. Ever since I’ve been sleeping with it, my back has not went out. I used to throw my back out 1 - 2 times a year. I needed a new one since the one I had was really warn out and getting flat, but the company that I bought it from no longer makes them. I opted to try this pillow. It’s soft, comfortable and full. It did not come partially empty like some reviews on here. I was happy about that when I received it. I knew it would be shorter than the one I’m used to but I had a hard time finding a reasonable price for one and hoped for the best with this one. My cons are… 1. The legs are short. It goes mid thigh. My previous one went mid calf. I’m 5’ 5” tall. 2. The head section is narrow, it needs to be a couple more inches wider. I like to use my regular pillow when I sleep, so I used to push the top section of the u shaped pillow up above my head. Since this one has shorter legs, I can’t do that. It’s perfect to use to sit up with but not sleep if you want to use your regular pillow. 3. I wish the overall pillow was wider. The legs are narrower than the other one I had. My cat likes to sleep on the leg of the pillow next to me but since this one is not wide enough, part of her body hangs off. She’s a little upset with me about that. Lol Overall, I like this pillow for just lounging around because it is really comfortable but not for sleeping with. I’ll keep it, but my search continues… ... show more

I have been dealing with sciatic pain for a year now and at 16 weeks pregnant, it is flaring up like crazy. It is really comfortable and levels out my spine and hips perfectly at 5'1". Side note, it makes me feel very secure. I have some pretty heavy anxiety. Feeling a big hug all around me really makes me feel safer. It has also made my BD a little jealous because I prefer wrapping myself up in this than reaching for him anymore. Definitely bought this when I was intoxicated. Completely forgot, even when it came to my front door I was so confused until I opened it up and remembered I ordered it when I was drunk and definitely the best drunk purchase I’ve ever made. It’s so comfortable, not to firm and not to soft. It’s amazing. My friend had one that had no pillow just a big noodle basically and I believe that one was the original ones they first came out with, they are also way more expensive.
