Used this to place a small 24' inch tv and it is very easy to install using the screws provided. It is able to slighlty tilt and you can swivel without any problems or it feeling too hard.

I received this through the Amazon Vine program for an ultrawide monitor I purchased to be installed by my bed so I can play video games while in bed. I know, sounds wonderful, right? Easy to adjust the position of the monitor and arms work well. If you have an older LCD 42 inch television, I wouldn't suggest this as it will probably not hold up to the weight of non-led televisions. You will need to tighten/loosen the tilt for up and down movement with a screwdriver to change the angle, but I don't need to do that so it isn't an issue for me. Simply find a stud in your wall and pre-drill 2 holes for the lag bolts. Then just mount the stand using the provided bolts making sure to keep it level.
