I bought this marker with hopes of lasting longer and replacing the Sharpie Magnum markers I use at work. The paint in the marker is great, very dark with great coverage. The marker unscrews, with a left hand thread, to refill it. I was trying to get the cap off and the marker began to unscrew. I tightened it back down but now it leaks. If I don’t store it with the cap in the up position, the paint will leak into the cap. And I’m talking about a short time of having it sitting. If you’re looking for the same quality as their spray cans with this marker, you’ll be disappointed. Like I said, the paint in the marker is great, but it seems very cheaply made as far as craftsmanship. I would maybe buy another one just to see if it does the same thing, I may have gotten a defective marker, I don’t know. That is the reason for the 3 stars. If I try another one, I will write a new review. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Some paint sploodgez as it likes to exude from the sponge into the cap when its on and closed. But i guess thats the nature of it. But as far as markers and paint go, this Montana is the WIN! Cant wait to try refilla

This is my first wide nib paint marker. As a calligrapher/ letterer, the acrylic from a broad, felt nib is very nice to have for many different applications. The color is deep and applies very well. The only issue I really have is the crispness of the edge of the nib. Possibly a denser/ firmer type of felt accompanied with a steeper angle? I'm not sure if there is such thing as differing materials for tips. I only say this because of the thickness of the hairline strokes in some of the letterforms I use.
