Handy hints: Use oil paint with a wooden palette (solvents such as turpentine and white spirits may damage plastic palettes) Change paint consistency by adding small amounts of turpentine or linseed oilPrepare your surface with a coat of primerPaint separation may occur if the tube is left stationary for a while and is normal as over time, the heavier pigments sink to the bottom. Quickly fix this by remixing the paint with a brush or palette knife until blended

I was pleasantly surprised to see this paint worked great. Some of the reviews had complaints but I had a great experience. There was no extra oil like people were talking about. Don't use this paint if you need it to dry any time soon. It takes at LEAST a week to dry to the touch and 6 months to dry completely before you can seal it.
